weld grind paint. if nothing else, im sure a body shop wouldnt charge much to do it. (at least the paint part, its not that hard to weld then grind. welds dont even have to look great before grinding)

ok i got a 1jz supra with a stinger ems standalone. since i'm on standalone would i still have to wire in resistor packs for the mk4 injectors (since they are lower impedance) im thinking i should be able to change the settings in the ecu to recognize low impedence injectors but im not sure. im just doin a little research before i go spend the money so anyone with experience feel free to chime in.

has the cat converter been replaced? 200k miles, its probably dead. get under the car and tap it with a screwdriver. if you hear a rattle, or if it sounds full (like beating on a full trash can) it probably needs replaced.

one day i will build a mineral oil cooled computer. it would need the cd drive mounted outside the oil though at the very least.

mine had issues for a couple days. its all good now though.

id take the money. with a million i think i could build a pretty nice car. would you rather have a viper with a 6 cyl dakota motor in it or a beat ass corolla with a v12.

ok thanks for the responses. i'm probably just going to check out wheel medic for the repair.. is there a number i can call for forgeline in dayton? i'd like to go over my options for my rear wheels.

as soon as i find another set to roll on, i am taking mine apart to paint the centers and polish the lips.. i have a bend in one of the barrels, it could be straightened, but i may buy a new barrel and put it in there if its gonna be cost effective. does anyone know where to buy parts? my wheels are 3 piece volk superfine mesh.. i'm mainly interested in barrels, but lips too if i could find them. i wouldnt mind going staggered. if anyone has any tips, advice, or sources to buy parts it would be greatly appreciated.

the G8 GT is legit. go drive one for yourself. as for resale, i wouldnt worry too much about it. ppl still pay good coins for neon srt-4's and cobalt ss'. the G8 GT is a very desirable car, and is expected to hold good value.
