Well thought-out analysis as always, Zack.

I like Cardale a lot. I really do. He gained so many points in my book for his "press conference" early this year deciding to come back to school, and with his stature, he will FOR SURE get, at bare minimum, a chance in the NFL, but JT is undeniably the better fit for THIS OFFENSE, THIS YEAR. He's simply a smarter player, and makes defenses stay honest. Cardale has a rocket of an arm and tries to brute force his way into running plays, and those are certainly great NFL qualities, but we need a QB who keeps defenses guessing.
-
I hope this was the final straw Urban needed to grow some balls and officially list JT as the starter.

I just wanna congratulate the SEC West champions Memphis for their excellent play against the Bama-beating Ole Miss Rebels. :lolguy::lolguy: SEC R SKRONG. #1 CONFRENS. ROWW TIDE DADDY.

Yeah, because 6/6 is very inefficient.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure "hi" would get you laid with a garage as impressive as yours.

Definitely get an SRT-4.

Hilarious coming from a Bama fan. :lolguy::lolguy::lolguy::lolguy:

Yeah I don't understand it at all to be honest. On paper, would it not be the opposite? Bring in your big man Cardale to power out those last few yards, but have your playmaker with the smarts out in the middle of the field to get it down there? Whatever, it worked against Maryland and Urban clearly isn't gonna give JT the starting role yet for some stupid reason.

#18 UCLA vs #15 Stanford #17 Iowa vs #20 Northwestern #10 Alabama vs #9 TAMU #7 Michigan St vs #12 Michigan #8 Florida vs #6 LSU And I'll also take Louisville over #11 FSU as my stupid upset pick of the week. EDIT: Jive - Penn State ALWAYS gives OSU a handful. This is the one game of the year that they pour everything into. Akin to Texas upsetting Oklahoma rather frequently, no matter how bad the Longhorns are.

The name is dumb and the front grill is ugly. This thing won't sell enough for Toyota to justify keeping it around long, and will hurt FR-S sales. Who would buy this over <insert car here>? Only sports car guys looking for a Miata would be interested, and that's a very niche market. I like Toyota having the balls to try something new and add some spark into the car scene, but I can't see this as anything other than a failure.

I don't understand why exactly we changed much on the offensive scheme coming from last year. Sure, we lost our offensive coordinator, but there's no way Meyer and/or other offensive thinktanks were that out of touch that they couldn't grasp the plays he was calling, right? And our WR core isn't THAT much different than last year - we're still in that "1 good WR and a bunch of so-so guys" slump. Anyway, I'm excited for Barrett. Playcalling aside, I think he's smarter than Cardale and he'll help open up the offense a little. We desperately need to pound Maryland this weekend. We need to show that our team can get it together before our big games, and I've got a feeling we're out of #1 if we have another lackluster win.

Just ban him from the Kitchen. But make it so the ONLY posts he sees when he clicks New Posts are from the Kitchen, and the Kitchen is the very top link he sees in the forum.

I've always wondered (and pardon my ignorance) if it's possible to have Facebook as your registration for a forum? Seems like that alleviates a lot of the hesitatin' for registratin'.

I sold my sports car years ago in favor of having a comfortable, reliable DD and a bike. I'm happy to participate in the off-topic threads, namely the College Football Thread v1278309120.32. The difference between CR and the Facebook car/bike groups is day and night, and I think some of the people saying CR is dead should carefully decide if they want the same Facebook-esque activity here or not, because that's going to be the natural source of new activity. Hint: Abundant shittalking. You think the few trolls that have been banned from CR are/were bad? You ain't seen nothing LOL.
-
Fixed. We can both make claims about 1 loss teams being good or bad.

1. PAC-12 2. B1G 3. Big XII/SEC 4. SEC/Big XII/ACC 5. ACC/SEC/Big XII Honestly kind of hard to rank the entire conferences. I firmly believe the PAC-12 is the best in the country right now, but the B1G may give them a run for their money. Regardless, PAC and B1G are #1 and #2, without a doubt. The rest are really interchangeable, but not exactly sure where they fall. Likewise though, they're solidly behind the B1G and the PAC-12. There's a pretty clear line between the top 2 and the bottom 3.

Finally! We'll probably put up 83 points now.

The exhaust itself wouldn't be that big of a deal to me, but the fallout from it regarding your warranty absolutely is. I would threaten legal action against the dealership if they don't replace it for you for free AND give you a warranty of their own, or buy the truck back at the price you paid, depending on your long term goals from this. In your shoes, I'd keep the truck, it's spiffy lookin' and I think they're pretty decent. Either way, the dealership lied about the warranty and you should be having this conversation with an attorney.

That dog is so cute! Great addition!

What do you mean Facebook sells my information? And why are there tons of hot girls in my area?
-
No, it's not, because it requires Ole Miss to have 2 losses and for every OTHER team in the SEC West to have at least one loss for Alabama to even have a chance to play for the SEC title. Do you not understand how conference championship participants are chosen? Further, since the committee has established that you've pretty much gotta be a conference champion to get an invite, 'Bama is in a VERY tough spot to get in. Not saying it's impossible, but the odds are astronomically low. Much lower than Ohio State's were last year after week 4. Sorry to break your heart, but realistically speaking, that game had huge implications for the playoff. But look on the bright side, Alabama can officially join the bracket buster club and ruin other teams' dreams now too.
-
Not really. A conference game (from the same division, nonetheless) carries MUCH more weight in terms of a playoff berth than a non-conference loss, due to the impact it has on you playing for your conference championship. Had we beat VT but lost to Michigan State, we wouldn't have been in the playoff. This is a similar scenario here. Ole Miss is a contender for the SEC West.
-
That's a damn safe bet right there, seeing as 'Bama needs to win out AND get help from others... ...and then they still need to play their conference championship... ...and then they still need to hope at least one other champion has a loss... ...and then they still need to win the playoff. Basically, 'Bama ain't making it this year.
