  1. FWIW, WOW's router is a piece of crap and gets real shoddy with more than 4 devices connected between wifi and cat-5. Make sure you have your own (you should with any ISP, but hey we're all broke, right?). I may be an outlier, and this may be an isolated incident though, I never called them, just got my own. I got on board with them spring last year. Other than that, I'll +1 for WOW.
  2. To be fair, there were other issues at Auburn.
  3. I saw on Reddit that, according to last year's numbers at a "meh" Texas program, they could offer Saban up to $32 million and still break even, and that number doesn't begin to factor in the amount of money he'd be able to bring to the school. Plus, he's said Texas is a (the only?) job he'd leave Alabama for during this season. I'd like it to happen only because the Big 12 is a hell of a lot easier to have plastered all over my television than the entitled SEC asshats.
  4. QB draws aren't consistent plays though, they're more of a defensive error than offensive brilliance, whereas Hyde was simply a monster all year who had no problem plowing right into the middle of the line and coming up with 4-5-6-20-50 yards, every single play. It's incredibly hard to stop that on defense when you're already throwing the entire box at defending a run play. Add in the fact that we've got some pretty solid depth at RB, and we'd quickly wear down a defense. In hindsight, I'm still perplexed as to why we didn't run it all season long, with a small handful of tosses when we catch safeties cheating, as another poster said. I'm not jumping on the OSU hate train, but if our playcalling is the same as it was against MSU, Clemson will beat us with ease.
  5. Same. Bama vs. Oregon has been years in the making.
  6. Honestly with the run numbers our backfield puts up, I'm not sure why we ever pass more than 10 or so times a game. Works for other teams, why wouldn't a triple run option work for us?
  7. Yep disregard I jumped too soon. I wouldn't be surprised if it were to happen, but this particular instance was not official.
  8. Also according to Reddit, ESPN Radio in Austin is reporting that Saban is going to Texas after this year, per inside sources.
  9. This. The Decision 2: Famous Jameis' Big Long Schlong of Right or Wrong
  10. This post really made me realize how awful the BCS bowls are going to be this year, other than the Rose Bowl/Natty. Like, complete rape in the Orange, Fiesta, and Sugar. B1G bowls don't look so good... I'd take Sparty over Stanford all day, but everything else I dunno. Michigan only wins if they play like they did Saturday, and only because Georgia has had the worst injury luck in the history of ever. Minnesota might beat Texas Tech, but these other games are almost all but guaranteed B1G losses.
  11. All bowl politics and fandom aside, I think FSU-OSU would be a far more entertaining game than pretty much any other possibility. Both defenses are okay, but both offenses are fast-paced and explosive, and they'd score on each other all day. I'd rather watch a shootout than another rape (lol) or defenses butting heads. Also, ESPN Radio has been ridiculous all day today with the "LOL NO GUYS IT AINT EVEN MATTER IF WE GOTS A CONTRACT SEC POWER #SEC S-E-C S-E-C 7 YEEARS!!1" Give me a break. If the roles were reversed (a 1 loss team slowly getting back into the top 5ish) they wouldn't even remotely consider them for the title. Shit, look at OkSt. 1 embarrassing loss and they're nowhere in the title discussion, yet this circlejerk is going about getting an Auburn team who has BARELY won every single game they've won other than LSU (lol), and who is all of 2 plays away from being a 3 loss team, is somehow getting 'screwed'? What? EDIT: Furthermore, if the Gods that be (ESPN) DEMAND an SEC team, I'd still want it to be Alabama despite the loss. That crap would absolutely not happen again. Alabama wins that matchup 9 games out of 10, but this Saturday was the 1. Alabama is still the better football team with a more quality loss (lol) and more decisive wins.
  12. I'm still more afraid of FSU than I am whatever flavor of the week SEC team. Regardless of schedule, FSU is VERY explosive, and OSU is a very emotional team. If the Buckeyes are down, they have difficulty swinging a game back in their favor. Just look at the game yesterday, Michigan literally walked down the field on that final drive.
  13. I'm kind of surprised, given the so-so at best season he's had this year. Doesn't seem too smart for his draft stock, unless he's worried about an injury or greedy for dat cash monay yo.
  14. Super happy Stanford lost though, Reddit and ESPN have been giving me headaches with excuses for why Stanford should still have a shot.
  15. To be fair, our score does not tell the game's story. It was a two possession game for FAR too long, given how badly we were supposed to beat them. We didn't even cover our spread.
  16. Also, why the hell is Stanford ahead of Baylor? Sure, they beat Oregon, but Baylor has absolutely destroyed everyone they've played.
  17. +1. I'd rather take a win against an injured Oregon.
  18. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm far more afraid of an FSU matchup than an Alabama matchup. Not that I'm confident at all against Alabama, but FSU has been decimating their opponents, and they play with a speed offense that we've historically struggled against. Alabama doesn't look nearly as impressive on offense compared to FSU, Baylor, even Texas A&M, IMO, they're just an incredibly well rounded team with no real weakness. I'd also like to witness FSU vs. Alabama though, assuming both teams keep their trends going.
  19. Someone's been drinking Thorne's Koolaid. Seriously, wtf Ben. I thought you were on the 'I worked for what I have, so can you' team. Although I do agree 100% that income tax needs to be dissolved in favor of higher expenditure taxes.
  20. That's a LOT of mods that drastically change vital readings for a generic stage 2 tune intended for nothing more than a downpipe with optional catback... A caring and responsible owner would get a Subaru protuned, or leave the turbo and intercooler stock. That'd worry me about other issues if I were buying. Either the owner is cheap or stupid, or both.
  21. What evidence do you have? You are the ignorant one. Remove emotions from the trial - this is a no-brainer. Morally, I think Zimmerman is a piece of shit for trying to take matters into his own hands, but legally, he's squeaky clean.
  22. Anyone who thinks there is any evidence beyond a reasonable doubt is seriously retarded. Regardless of whether he was in the moral right for doing what he did is irrelevant, in the legal sense this isn't even a contest. I've heard speeding tickets with more credible arguments than any of this shit. Zimmerman walks, begins new life in Montana as John Doe.

But again, they could still try it. No DRM doesn't mean cloud features can't exist. The only people responsible for a lack of trying to progress the industry is Microsoft, which is a pretty pathetic stance to defend.

No. No no no no no no no. Just fucking no. Microsoft COULD have very easily implemented their new features without the bullshit, but they chose not to. You've got to be fucking kidding me if you think that's the "future". Cloud gaming? Sure. I'd love it, although I don't think broadband standards are where they need to be on a large-scale basis for it to work how it should, but whatever. They could have very easily allowed you to install a purchased game to your harddrive and never require an online connection at all and made cloud gaming optional, but they chose not to. They chose to step away from progression, not the consumers. The only progress thus far this generation is Sony providing better hardware at a cheaper price. You're blind as shit if you don't think Microsoft was chasing dollar signs with the DRM and the required Kinect. I'm glad they reverted their stupidity, but again, they could have added cool shit without grabbing people by the balls. I'm still getting a PS4 despite being in Microsoft's camp during the current generation. I love Forza, I really do, but it's not worth an extra $100 on some shit that I will never use. Make the Kinect an optional addon, drop the price $100, give gamers the option of purchasing games via the cloud at a discount (since you know, it's fucking cheaper to distribute it that way and the savings should be passed on to your consumers) or a physical disc at a retailer, allow it to be played with cloud features if you're online or just play the game as-is offline with no check in requirements, keep all the apps and social media hooplah optional with no negative impact on gameplay, give me the option to play multiplayer with anyone on my family share list or w/e as if they were sitting next to me on the couch even though they don't have the game, and then they'd have some progress and that'd be a system I would buy. I hope GT6 isn't nearly as awful as GT5. #teamPS4

Anyone else find it hilarious that this generation's console war, thus far, has been won not by features added, but by 'features' NOT added? I was disappointed from the getgo with Microsoft, but honestly if the PS4 didn't have 4k support, I wouldn't be buying either console. I'm interested to see what they can do with 4k, though. Yes, I'm aware the XB1 also has 4k support, but as a responsible consumer, they were already eliminated from contention of obtaining my monies.
