  1. Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread or not, but my little baby Ninja 250 that got me initially hooked on 2 wheels last year got me hooked on this bad boy over the weekend: http://i.imgur.com/ccP533hl.jpg New-to-me 2008 GSX-R 600, had all of 2100 miles on it when I picked it up. While I'm glad I started with a 250 to learn, this thing is 10 times more of a bike and I freakin' love it. Bone stock at the moment, shorty levers on the way though. I won't be embarrassed to park next to the other bikes at Cars and Coffee now, lol.
  2. Wait, what? Not wearing a seatbelt is a lesser fine than wearing one slightly "wrong"? The fuck is wrong with this state?

That 2.5 is awesome man! Welcome!
  4. QFT. Plus PCs are quickly becoming even better, easier, and "cooler" all-in-one media centers with every new update.
  5. As a consumer who will be buying one of the two systems this year, Microsoft is still out of their damn minds with this price point. It should be $350 for the Kinect-less version, if not less. The Xbox is still weaker than the PS4, and tossing the Kinect (devs are going to be absolutely done with the Kinect, save for any quickie stuff they can tack on) really tilts the scale in favor of the PS4 more than ever, now. I'm a cable cutter, so their TV shit doesn't really apply to me (and I'm sure the cable cutter-gamer market is growing every day with how easy it is to watch stuff online). Games lists on both consoles still suck. Good on them for finally doing it, I guess, but the Kinect shouldn't have been a requirement from day one, and it should have been a LOT more competitive with the PS4. On paper, it's absolutely no contest that the PS4 is better in literally every gaming aspect. Shame their exclusives are kinda bland, and the console just seems... cold. TL;DR: $400 is still astronomically high compared to the competition, IMO.
  6. Guys saying no down payment, question for you: Is that referring to lease offers that say "$X down and $Y per month"? Are you saying a potential buyer should go in and tell the dealer to take the down payment off? Or rather, it's smarter to shop around the no down payment deals? I've never leased as I like having equity, just curious. Thanks in advance!
  7. I think this is key, and when I lived in Blacklick I had Insight, and the ping was constantly 20-30ms with zero outages, ever. Moved downtown and originally got Time Warner, in a true Time Warner area and it was absolutely atrocious. 100+ ping at all times, if it was even up to begin with. Just personal experience. Gamer to gamer, I don't blame you for switching one bit. Why some networks have these ridiculous hops and horrendous latency is beyond me, you'd think that online gaming has become such a prevalent thing in today's society that ISPs would ensure their pings were as low as possible, in addition to offering a decent speed.
  8. +1 Ray Rays. Damnit, can't wait for Ribfest now...
  9. Curious, who do you run with now and is the ping better?
  10. I quickly came to realize that for most live sports events I care about, I'm usually at a bar anyway. For the FEW that I'm home and would like to watch, the internet is a fantastic tool. http://fırstrowsports.eu/ for starters. Reddit's usually got HD links to everything too.
  11. Downtown Columbus, WOW, 30/3, $50, works fantastic.

  13. inb4 he'd never get elected regardless of political affiliation. dude's a stiff. EDIT: COOL C7 LOL
  14. I'm actually taking classes at CSCC right now working towards my finance degree. I'll +1 their personal finance classes, as they're excellently simple (lol CSCC students) but teach everything that a functioning human adult needs to know. However, I (mildly off topic) will vehemently advise against anything accounting or economic principles, etc., unless they've changed the curriculum to be a hell of a lot more modern. Nobody uses T-charts anymore in the real world.
  15. 6 PM Mandatory Metallica on 99.7... nope. Not even once. In fact, I'm so adamant, that I've changed the channel by 5:58.
  16. I think I saw your bike at iron pony today? If so, I ride the green lil baby ninja parked behind you. Your bike is stupid clean boss.
  17. I showed up stupid late and creeped on Jones' Zila. Good showing nonetheless, see y'all next week
  18. Good luck. Every shop I've ever talked to have said that no two factory runs of Subaru's pearl colors are exactly the same, and it's damn near impossible to get an exact match. Had a OBP and SWP WRX, had the STi spoiler put on both, and had fender repaired on the OBP one, and talked to another shop about color correcting the rear bumper on my SWP WRX cuz dirty exhaust, four different locations, all said the same about the paint. PS, by chance, are you the guy with the white STi at the McCoy Center? Black wheels with a red rim stripe?
  19. Debating cruise, I'll be on the bike, but I should be out at Cup O' Joe. Thanks all.
  20. I've heard from numerous people that the new Ninja 1000 is the most comfortable liter bike in all of history ever.
  21. Jumping to conclusions here, but if you're going to be preparing for the worst, relying on being able to find safe water is pretty dumb IMO. Hit the gym and get a camelback.
