I stayed at the Bellaggio for my 21st. 10/10, would go again. Slightly expensive, but it's one of the nicer hotels on the strip, for what it's worth. The gaming hall has it's sectioned-off area for the high rollers, but you'll find the same cheap (read: $5 blackjack, penny/nickle/dime/quarter slots) games you do everywhere else. Their in-house club, The Bank, is alright. Very clean and very nice, but quite small compared to XS, which is the best club on the strip IMO. If you're into Cirque du Soleil shows, their Beatles themed show is a must-see. It's called LOVE, and it plays several nights a week at the Mirage. Also at the Mirage is a great Brazilian steakhouse. +1 on don't bother driving anywhere, there's a LOT to see just walking around, and it's legal (at least, it was when I went) to drink in public, so grab a beer and start walking.

The ringlands issue is a toss-up; on one hand, a good tune will drastically reduce the chance of it ever happening, assuming you follow recommended maintenance, but a tune won't completely eliminate the possibility, and obviously warranty work is going to be hard to press with modded power levels. A stage 2 (downpipe and catback, proper tune) WRX/STi is a nasty daily driver though. Decent on gas, power when you want it, and still well within the 'safe mods' range. Get a COBB AccessPORT and use their preloaded tune, it's ultra conservative. For what it's worth, there's more horror stories on NASIOC of the EJ257 blowing (STi motor) than the EJ255 (WRX motor), and far more members have the WRX. Also, do note that the stock current-gen WRX dynos within ~10 whp of the STi. You're not losing any straight line speed. If anything, the WRX is slightly faster in a straight line due to less weight. If you drag, it's 3 shifts vs 4 in the quarter mile; WRX kills the STi. IMO, if you plan on heavily modifying the suspension at all, or changing the power level, save the cash and buy a WRX. If you get the STi, I wouldn't touch the motor at all, just get some sticky tires and gut it out. I've had a turbo-back exhaust and an intake since 3000 miles, and I've dragged and autocrossed a bit, with obvious trips in Mexico. No issues, and I'm at 25,000 now.

660ti hands down, especially if you're running a fairly high resolution or dual monitor. Think you might still get Borderlands 2 for free with it too.

Same, 7500 intervals and not a drop missing. 5W-30 synthetic. I think it's just the older cars that burn regularly.

I think it's just your department Although our original plan was to rent a room at Dave and Buster's, but the boss' boss nixed that. Oh well, free food (Carfagna's) and soda and a half paid day off.

Oklahoma was hardly screwed compared to the situation Georgia is in. Losing a conference championship should not count as a loss per BCS rankings, or at least it shouldn't knock you down below a team you beat that essentially has the same record as you. The BCS rewarded a team that didn't play. What in the actual fuck. Thank God we're almost done with this shit. Although, I do agree that Oklahoma should be in a BCS bowl as well.

The ISPs directly aren't punishing you (you're a paying customer!), but forcing users to acknowledge that they have downloaded copyrighted material has legal ramifications from the sue-happy RIAA etc. Side note, I had no idea this was already in effect and I have yet to get my first strike, and I've downloaded a couple games and several albums since the 19th. Hrmmm... Also interested in good VPN.

Dumb, but pure instinct and great reflexes to catch a tipped pass. Ultimately, the bonehead award goes to the coaching staff who (presumably) told Murray not to spike the ball after it looked pretty clear what he was coming to the line to do... Either way, GREAT game. I was hoping for the Bulldogs to win so we could see some fresh blood in the championship, but Roll Tide. Fuck Notre Dame. Georgia better get an at-large bid in one of the BCS bowls, at least.
-
Agreed, and I can't really understand why there'd be a situation warranting a chase without lights on...
-
Sounds like we need more street racing penalties. To quote a comment on 10tv.com: "While I'm saddened to read such a story, I can't help but wonder if the officer had lights and sirens on while responding. I see officers frequently traveling at a high rate of speed in response to calls without lights or sirens. When I've called to complain I'm told that it policy for certain types of calls not to approach the scene with lights and sirens in order to not give away they are coming." Valid question. If his lights were off, I don't see how anyone could say the cop is innocent, policy or not.

A/B class, sure. airwg2189 is my gamertag.

Shame to see the SEC in it again, and I'm really not a fan of Notre Dame. I'll settle with Georgia though, it'd be nice to see a different team in the spotlight at least. And lol at 5 loss Wisconsin and 6 loss Georgia Tech and God knows what garbage from the Big East being in BCS bowls. Thank goodness that shit is almost over with.

airwg2189 I play mostly A class (AWD too usually). Haven't gotten Horizon yet, but likely getting it Friday.
-
Our run defense isn't nearly as bad as our pass defense, and as such, Wisconsin is completely winnable. Braxton needs to step up and continue to play well, and for the love of God, we have got to stop kick/punt returners.

Meh, not surprised by the polls at all. Also, am I the only one hoping Florida State shits all over Florida next next week? Seeing two 2-loss SEC teams in the AP polls (including LSU, who has scraped by the first four conference games and could very easily have been a 4-loss team) ahead of a slew of 1-loss teams is depressing. I honestly don't think the SEC is THAT great this year. Best conference as a whole? Sure. But completely different caliber ala years past? Not at all. Kinda feel like Oregon would run circles around any SEC team right now.
-
Also after yesterday, I'll be pissed if Manziel doesn't win the Heisman.
-
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them still in the top 5, likely right in front of Georgia or possibly even in front of Notre Dame still. Damn SEC. As much as I'd lol and love for the Bucks to be AP champs, college football as a whole needs a non-SEC championship for once. Here's to Oregon and K-State!
-
No, not at all lol. I work for a bank, and see day after day the so called 'idiot-proof' disclosures, agreements, enclosures, etc, which are pretty clearly designed by the government to TRY to keep Americans from getting into piles of debt, yet the government itself continues to stockpile debt. I just find the humor in the "if America was a person with a credit card" ironic, that's all!
-
^ those analogies are always funny, especially coming from a government that regulates the credit card business to ensure consumers have some understanding of what they're getting themselves into.
-
That Dodge Charger doesn't look remotely like an undercover cop car. Nope, not at all.

http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/results/president/exit-polls 54% to 44% for those making 100k+, that's a pretty massive difference. I admit, kinda surprised that a large majority of those polled with post-graduate education voted for Obama. Huge LOL at 90% of disillusion people who think the economy is good voting for Obama, I think that's really saying something. I'm sure this is a fairly urban sample too.
