  1. all the advice above about working for it is spot on. my parents just paid for tickets and car damage with little punishment. 4 reckless driving tickets all over 120mph and a 40 page driving record... i only stared caring when i had to fund a car replacement myself and having to pay 550 for one month for car insurance to get a title transferred. no tickets since 2009. i mean cutting lawns for the eldery for free may end up becoming a lawn car business down the road.
  2. we went to qsl and busch blvd in the early evening. qsl was ape shit packed, but no where near as many older cars as before. the target parking lot was almost full just from the crowd at qsl. busch blvd was dead, but it seemed like columbus pd wasnt patrolling like in years past, and could have been better later in the night.
  3. they are working, but not in the low end fast food chains. with the rapid increase of starting pay in the cbus area thanks to the corporate tax cuts, it could be that were seeing in lower end fast food, the impact of even less skilled workers. sadly the fast food places on 5th ave where I work are still a shit show even fully staffed.

     

    my last three trips to burger king on 5th ave have included no beef due to grill fire, worker sucking on metal paper clip only to accidentally hand me said paper clip with my debit card, and wrong order.

  4. well yes i lived there when david duke ran for govenor, but the poor experiences were across the board from a slew of races. i also would move back there in a blink of an eye of new orleans had more public tennis courts. saying every black person has had family drug out there house by police isnt accurate and nothing more the never ending "i'm the victim" that is pushed by the media. you yourself stated if someone isn't jewish then they shouldn't comment on jews.... then do the same regarding other races your not.

  6. I'm going to pry, so bare with me. "I eat healthy". Like food pyramid healthy, or I actually know what food is and the food pyramid is all messed up?

     

    Easy route, given what you said about being on prednisone. Stress or another factor has your cortisol levels elevated and joint inflammation was relieved with the prednisone. Get you some yoga. That's right, I said it. Yoga, pilates and stretching in general will get you that feel good you took a pill for, with long term benefits. Low testosterone may need to be checked out too. Again, cortisol being a asshole, can effect your T levels. And there is your lack of energy. If you have a diet with high carbs, 2-3 pm hates you and you want a nap. Have I mentioned yoga? You don't have to like it, but as guys in our 40's, we are fucking meatheads for the most part, and just lifting weights for workouts is likely our past. Now we feel out of whack with muscle mass and joint mobility.

     

    How we doing so far?

     

    never was into stretching until i got into my 40s. mainly because i kept getting injuries along with two torn hip labrums(sp). the normal squats, pushups, and heavy cardio was nothing but injuries. started doing the following:

     

    - exercises such as hindu squats to work on joint strength that is outside the normal range of motion.

     

    - finally took stretching serious and started working on doing the splits (which im still terrible at), calf stretches, lengthening running stride, and various hip stretches. seems to have solved my two decade issue with jumper's knee.

     

    - alot less high intensity workouts if im getting back into it but more high volume repetition.

     

    - portable sauna to do breathing exercises in and just disappear from the world for a bit.

     

    diet will always suck because if i eat healthy then my body fat drops too quick. cortizone shots quarterly have helped alot with my ankle pain due to joint damage from training injured.

  7. raises hand... lived in state that police can pull you over for minor car mods without breaking speed limit and car being legally registered/insured.... endless harassment. i thought reducing police interation and control was the cool thing during the summer?
