  1. One big pump like the Walbro 400 would overrun the regulator at idle, this way I can keep the stock regulator, and on my setup I really don't need the second pump so no worries about the second one failing. The single Walbro was more than sufficient at fueling my setup. This setup is almost identical to what buschur makes and runs along with hundreds of people that run his kit, so I'm not worried about a Walbro failing they're pretty reliable pumps. Having the second pump will come in handy next spring when I switch to corn
  2. Hobbs switch has a boost reference in the engine bay so i can adjust when the second pump kicks on, in my case i have a 5-15 lbs adjustment. Also i should say im on the stock fuel pressure regulator, running both pumps would overrun the regulator, thats why we use a hobbs switch
  3. Thought id share a little project -

Over the past week or 2 Adam P and I have been working away at making a complete double pump solution with Hobbs switch to keep the stock regulator from being over run at idle. Original setup utilized 2 Walbro H.O pump, but were switched with standard pumps since i already had a Walbro in the car. On to the pics

  4. i didnt bother watching the vid but i guess Stig made an appearance at C&C in Pittsburgh and David Buschur happened to be there and here is his response to someone asking what he thought of the car

honestly, I wasn't impressed. 1st, it didn't run. 2nd, claims of 2,000 whp need a dyno sheet or a 6 second time slip from the dragstrip or a 275+ mph run in the standing mile until then it's talk. The car is a mega dollar build but had poorly done aluminum charge air pipes on it. The excuse as to why it didn't run was an ECU being help up by the EPA........I could see numerous other things that weren't done on the car and that it was thrown together to drag to the event. There wasn't a single clamp on any charge air turbing or the inlets to the turbo. Sorry, it didn't impress me. Maybe when it's done it will........
  5. They said on the radio the Romney/Ryan might be at the OSU game, but it probably wouldnt happen since they have to be at a rally in Florida at 430 and nobody planned anything special for them here
  6. Any of you guys know how many miles these 4g's handle without abuse? Do they see 200k? Google kept leading me to pages of banter on other forums. If you know about these engines please chime in, thanks.

yes there are threads on evom where people have daily driven their stock to lightly modded evos past the 200k mark with regular maintenance, but i dont remember if they were the first owners which imo makes a big difference

  7. I'm thinking Indian (New India on Bethel) or sushi (Edamame @ Easton or Sushi En @ Polaris).

Best Indian imo is manaas in polaris and they have a lunch buffet with about 20+ things, trust me I'm brown lol
