I know this is late minute, but OhioVW is putting on a cookout/GTG in Granville today from 12pm-5pm. Infirmary Mound Park 4309 Lancaster Road SW, Granville, Ohio 43023 Should be a good gathering of cars. All are welcome to come and walk around.

I would consider them, but with the package I want it is out of the price range I want to be in. I've looked at WRX's but their purchase rates are much higher, plus Byers didnt have a single on on the lot besides an STi.

from my research, when the 2nd first came out it had VVT issues, so depending what year it was that could of been it.

Good points Doc, the reason I would want the MS3 is the four doors (other reasons as well). Im going to drive it on Friday and get some good seat time. Looking in the next 6 months, I will need a four door for work and kind of miss the four door. I know a lot of people are aganist the MS3 right now, but I need to do whats best for my current situation. I know I will miss the sound in the R and I honestly like the DSG but I dont know if that is enough to keep it. I have gone through a couple cars, by no means am I a heavy hitter but I like to switch it up.

If I get the trade in that I want, I could pay the current loan off and put the rest as a down payment since I would purchase not lease.

I owe on the R but if I get the trade in value I want, I could put ten grand down on it after its been paid off.

There is a lot of money in WV for the natural gas. A lot of pipeline and stations being built down there. Some of the higher ups for Columbia Gas, EQT etc. came from much bigger companies like BP.

Haha yeah I wish. I would love a 1st Gen but if I were to get a another car instead of the R it would need to be new. I knew that answer was coming. I would think about the Golf R but out of my price range. My dad went up and talked numbers to see what we could get it for. He said they checked out the brakes since I heard something and I for sure did not say anything about the brakes haha. Might of been the sales guy when I was in the car b/c when it started it made a noise. I don't know if I'll be pulling the trigger on it. People have said they are good cars and they would be fun but I would regret going from an R32 to a MS3.

Hey guys, So I'm torn right now because I'm torn between selling my 08' VW R32 for a 13' Mazda Speed3. I'm considering getting rid of the R32 because it will be out of the CPO next year and concerned about the costs of being out of warranty on a car that has known issues with the DSG. I have the car where I want it to be, coilovers, exhaust, intake, clear bra and some other apperance things. The R is a blast to drive and nothing sounds like it. I may also have to start putting more miles on it for work and currently it has 47k on it. I test drove the MS3 today and it fun. I'm currently eyeing a pearl white one with gunmetal wheels and black mirror caps with the tek package at Byers. When driving, it was fun with the turbo, rode real nice, had the bose radio with tomtom navi, bluetooh, pandora, etc. Spoke with the sales manager and he would let it go for 24k and the sticker is $27,xxx. I have always liked the MS3 but my concerns are resale value and would I miss my R way to much. My R has lower miles than most you see on AutoTrader/Ebay, it is a more rare car and I finally have it where I want it to be. Sorry for rambling but would value your opinion on it.

I got the same story when I had my IS300. Tint ticket and front plate ticket, CPD told me I was lucky he didn't tow it.

R32: I love this thing for multiple reasons. I love the sound of the car, handling, quick for me, fun for a daily driver and its AWD. I'm sure there are more but came to mind the fastest.

this whole thing is a fucking joke. I cant believe NBC had Mindy make a diagram to show what happened. Its like if carlos gets kicked off the team the whole city of columbus is going to blow up. This city needs to get over it. If he is off the team they have depth and they have UM.
