  1. I can't say I agree with abortion, however some sort of temporary sterilization I wouldn't be against. I think drug testing is not a bad idea at all, and if they did random drug testing they would save money. Also when they do the testing, take the cost out of what that individual would have gotten that month. Also give no warning before the testing, offer no rehab, just multiple drug tests at the cost of the person trying to get back on welfare. Also I don't think welfare should be giving out checks for people to do what they want with. They should provide food and shelter only, no extra luxuries, if people on welfare get bored and want more, then they need to get a job to get it.
  2. i agree, i dont much care for the aircraft styling that cadillac seems to be going for these past few years. by badass i was more referring to the drivetrain, not so much the styling.
  3. inb4claywantsonethread seriously though, thats a badass caddy.
  4. I enjoy how in the title of this YouTube video the car is apparently making 2000 whp. Yet from the time this video was made, it was going to be 2 weeks before it can run. Unless it saw some dyno time on a different ecm. I also kind of wonder about the placement of an X-pipe on this car, that is if it even has one (I couldn't see one anyways).
  5. Exactly. The reason I don't believe popular vote means anything. As far as greed goes... It's said to be one of the 7 deadly sins, also said to be the root of all evil. Seems to be what makes the world go round these days though. Prolly a good reason for those who hate us... Even the poorest of the poor in America have it better than most in third world countries.
  6. You would be pissed off too if you were dirt poor and doing everything you can to just survive while all you hear about America is that we are a bunch of fat lazy slobs who only care about ourselves and our interests. Add to that the fact that we haven't fought an actual war on American soil since the civil war and others around the world are afraid to walk down the street for fear of being a casualty of war. They see us as walking around worry free and without a care in the world. Remember when you were a kid and your mother used to say "finish your dinner, there are hungry kids around the world who are starving and would love to eat what you don't", I bet those people who are starving are thinking about how wasteful we are here in America.

  12. I was a senior in high school when it happened. I remember hearing about it for the first time in 4th period (10ish am?) and watching the second plane hit on tv. the only class that day that I was in that we didn't watch what was going on was spanish, she said "this isn't a class about america". I lost respect for her for that.
  13. This isn't necessarily a new technology, the first Tucker prototype used oil to open valves with some kind of distributor. It didn't work out for Tucker as there were too many issues and that engine never made it into production. However if this technology is devoloped properly, that could open up a whole new way of tuning, also it could save some engines when they run low on oil, with the idea if the pickup tube for the valves was higher in the oil than anything else (provided this system uses oil like the Tucker system did), the engine wouldn't run if it ran low, but not low enough to harm anything else.
  14. So I'm out of town in Tennisee and my passenger side cv axle pops loose :fuuuu:, So I get all the tools I need and a new joint (figured the old one was tore up due to the terrible vibration noise it was making), and it turns out it was the half shaft. Where the half shaft connects to the front diff, the splines are shot (and im assuming the ones in the diff are too, I couldn't hammer the shaft back in after cleaning the splines up a little). My question is do I need to replace the entire front diff or is the splined output shaft replacable. I think i can get by for a little while (4x4 doesn't currently work anyhow) by taking the cv axle apart and using the outer portion to hold the hub together, but i still want to get it properly fixed when i get back to Ohio. Thanks in advance.
  15. http://www.bobross.com/art/how-to/autumn/Autumn.JPG I like Bob Ross, I don't so much like Kirk Cameron.

  19. do you eat chinese food? most chinese resturants I go to I get the happy family. it is mostly veggies with beef chicken and shrimp in a brown sauce. some places it has asparagus in it and I think its my favorite veggie in it. I know that chinese food isn't the best thing for you, but maybe it could be a start. on a side note, I hate the water chestnuts (texture). am I the only one who doesn't like them, everyone I know seems to love them.
  20. get a juicer? maybe you can drink your fruits and veggies
