  1. I can see it now, welfare will start providing these free of charge to 47% of America.
  2. The stitching witch on 5th ave should be able to get it done for you. Iirc the address is 1516 w. 5th ave. If you need more info just let me know and I can get it for you.
  3. Sounds to me like it needs a new clutch. I've had a spring come out of the clutch disc twice on different vehicles and had the same symptoms. If you put the clutch pedal to the floor and try to get a gear, does it kind of creep forward (or backward) the harder you try to push it in the gear?
  4. Sounds like Phil needs to find out if he can get in on this.
  5. i would definately be interested if i can clear it with the wife (because of the new baby and all). but if it happens to be on a friday or saturday night that people would want to set this up, i could prolly swing something.
  6. have you tried putting another relay in? sometimes when they get worn out they start buzzing.
  7. Is there any way we could just skip straight to the overdose?
  8. Dat hood :megusta: Good luck with the build, post up some numbers after its tuned please.
  9. I'd keep the 396 as well if I were you. That engine should meet any power goals you would want, plus it would prolly be as cost effective to refresh that engine as it would be to swap a lsx in.
  10. There is a place on 5th ave that could do it, its called the stitching witch. Let me know if you want the info, I know the owner.

    Debate

Can Tim mod his sig quote to say "when I see Tim respond, I know its going to be a novel about hating Obama." I don't mind reading about peoples opinions, but there just isn't enough time in the day to read all of your posts.
  12. I don't have any pics of it, but I once blew a chunk of piston out. It was the ring land on the side, and it was gone half way around the piston. Weird part was, I don't know how the pieces got out, there was no damage to the sidewalls of the cylinder, but the head was chewed up. This happened on a 1985 300zx turbo. It was my fault as at the time I didn't know enough about cars to know not to turn up the boost without supporting mods.

    Debate

Personally, when it comes to the national debt, I'd like to see the government decrease unnecessary spending and (i know I'm one of very few people in the country to want this) raise taxes for everyone. Now don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy getting my tax return. However, I wouldn't mind getting a little less back for the good of the country. I guess what I'm getting at is I don't care who is in office. I just want to see things done with the well being of the country in mind, rather than the "what can I do for me and my buddies" mentality.
  14. Does the car stay running after it starts? Sounds like your ole man could very well headed in the right direction. Idk for sure that these cars have a cold start injector, however there would have to be some kind of system to add more fuel for a cold start.
  15. This is exactly why I work on my own cars. Edit: I just saw what trish posted, I'm glad to see another dealership stepping up to right the situation.
  16. No kidding, I only got 4 hours sleep last night with one baby... I couldn't imagine two.
  17. Single, its gonna start out coming from the turbo that way anyways.
  18. According to the news, yes.
  19. To the people being serious thank you. To the trolls, this isn't the kitchen, quit shitting in my thread.
  20. I would also wait for the newness to wear off. The fox 28 morning show was all over the opening this morning, looked nice. I would be interested in seeing what foods the restaurants have to offer too.
  21. His name is Elijah. He weighed in at 8lbs 10oz and he is 20" long. This is the boy I am adopting that I started a thread about before. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/IMAG0018.jpg
