for 118000 dollars, I personally think he is asking too much. I've seen them before, and the reviews say they are completely unrefined and uncomfortable. however the horsepower number (back then) is through the roof. I would have expected to pay that price in 1990, but imo I wouldn't spend more than half what he is asking. not saying its not worth it to someone, just not to me.

hows yours runnin chris?? anywho, what have they done with the fuel system? is it factory up until a regulator for the carb or something? fwiw, I would go bigger on the carb, that 327 can pull more than 450 cfm. I would prolly go with a 750 with vacuum secondaries, that way it doesn't use more than it needs. also what's up with the cooling system? I'm just curious how they have it set up. you can get a nice aluminum radiator from grannys speed shop, but its not cheap. I wanna say the 550 range iirc, but you get the radiator hoses and cooling fans too.

I heard that certain chrysler motors use a single pass bore with no kind of relief pass. I'm not sure which motors, but I tend to stay away from chrysler products anyhow.

300 for spark plugs would be cheap in a ford expedition. if you have ever tried to change them, then I need not explain why. also +1 on the double gasket, they don't always look to see if the old one is stuck.

lol, I saw this on cl the other day. has potential for sure. swap for a tII rear axle as soon as possible, don't launch it as it is, if that is a 4 bolt rear end, you will break it for sure.

if you check the meeting and events section closer toward the weekend, you can usually find stuff going on. most weekends people get together at home depot on sawmill road. its not really a car show, its just a bunch of people getting together to hang out. there are other things that go on though besides just this.

I like how they charge 22 dollars for an air filter. you can buy a cheapo filter from the parts store for less than ten dollars and install it yourself.

i was thinking about that, but i dont want drivability to suffer. the stuff i said is gone i want to see if i can do without and keep everything else. i really dont want to do the throttle body mod and id like to keep the bac valve for a good controlable cold idle. also its not just emissions, i know two apex seals are stuck on the front rotor. also i dont know how the housing seals are, they could be shot and i wouldnt know until i can get the apex seals unstuck. the car has a long way to go until its in running condition, im hoping i dont have to do a complete teardown. im just trying to get some stuff sorted on the motor so when (or if) i can get it running without a teardown that it should run ok at least. and thanks hal, i will hit up tinman and see what he has to say.

im having problems with figureing out where stuff goes on the car i just picked up. a few things on the emissions system are missing, such as the air pump and the split air pipe. idk what all is missing and i was thinking of doing an emissions delete. i was wondering if there is anyone around columbus that wouldnt mind letting me take a look at theyre car and maybe some pics so i have a refrance to get things sorted out on my car. ps, if this is in the wrong section please move it mods, i wasnt sure if there was a better place for it to go.

if the issues your decribing are in fact minor and you know exactly what they are, i would just hold onto it and fix it. get it roadworthy first, then worry about cosmetics.

ya, i thought about going lsx, but i just dont have the money to do it how i would want it. plus i already have a bunch of stuff already for the 350 i have (ive had it a lil while, i originally got it for the camaro, but my plans changed). im not lookin for a 7 second car or anything, just something fun to drive more or less.
