i say pull it out of its rut and take a good look at the underside, spray it down real good with a hose if its covered in mud. if there is a considerable amount of rust, it may not be worth salvaging, might be possible, but it could require deep pockets if its too far gone.

im talkin about protecting himself, not about killing a guy in cold blood. i didnt say anything about shooting the guy just cause he is on your property, the no trespassing signs wouldnt hurt though, they would give you more legal rights regardless. i also said i dont believe it should ever go that far. i should check into the current laws more though, last i heard (prolly 10 or so years ago) with no trespassing signs up, if someone is trespassing you have the right to shoot them if they are asked to leave and refuse. could be bad info though.

i agree with what was said in the prior few posts, file a report now, be honest about it too, buy a gun to keep close (such as in garage if thats where he harass' you most) and put up no trespassing signs. with those signs up, if he gets shot, no questions asked, he was on your property and it was posted with no trespassing signs. not that i think it should go that far, but if he pulls a gun on you and you feared for your life, you gotta do what you gotta do. im just thinkin worst case scenario. but the cops should be able to take care of it before it gets that far i would think.

if it were me, i would have explained the situation to the neighbor, that i work an off shift / hang out with friends later on the weekends (i dont know your situation). also explain to him that sound ordinance doesnt take effect until about 9 or 10 (dont remember what it is in the summertime). if he would still continue to follow me home after that, politely let him know that he is trespassing and that there would be repercussions if he does not leave. then if he refuses to leave, beat his ass, you are well within your right if he is on your property. fact is why piss all your neighbors off when its only one your mad at?

they agreed upon it, it was theyre choice to do what they did. she may be doing that to him emotionally, but then again i told him to let it go a long time ago, theyre relationship is theyre business though

how so, she has nothing to do with him living here or not being able to live here, as i said there was an agreement between me and my brother on his ability to stay here, he agreed to those terms, the agreement with her was different, and again it wasnt so much for her, it was for the kids. i see no issue giving the kids a safe place to stay, they have a roof over theyre heads, food in theyre bellies. the kids are innocent, so why am i gonna tell her and the kids to kick rocks?

im glad that you and your brother worked things out, me and my brother did as well, the terms of him staying here was for him to get a job, which he did. the threat of not being able to live here forced him to get a job (one with a weekly paycheck and not side jobs). so now he will be able to get a place of his own and fend for himself, exactly what i was going for the whole time. ive seen people be couch hoppers and leach off of people, i didnt want that for him. does any of this mean i love my brother any less? no. glad the mustang is doin well now, now it has plenty of other horses to run with now i assume?
