what kind of budget? a fc or a fb shell could be had pretty cheap and swapped

gotcha, if you have a compression tester it wouldn't hurt to check to let him know, unless you think he would expect you to fix a major problem for free.

possible he jumped time? sometimes if its off by one tooth the car will still run, just like shit though. maybe also try checking compression. is it a turbo model? maybe the turbo is shot and its getting too much fuel vs. air. idk for sure, just throwing out some ideas of where to look.

looks like a converted kz750. I used to have one, not bad, I ended up getting tired of the lack of power eventually though. otherwise congrats on the bike, should be enjoyable to ride

i have an older riding mower if your interested id make you a good deal on, it needs a part of the steering replaced where it meets near the wheel (right side as your sitting on it, may be steering gear), i could prolly let it go for 75, got a basketball hoop id give ya with it if you really want it too

FWIW i wear the cheap wal-mart shoes, they arent too bad on comfort however they could use an insole, but for driving, call me weird but in the summertime i actually prefer to drive barefoot. idk what it is, but it seems like i have way more control of the pedals
