I would say not all shops are shady, but I would say that some are, about 7 or 8 years ago my moms old explorer was overheating, dad put it in a shop, shop says it needs a new motor because of metal shavings in the coolant and wanted 8 grand to replace the engine, now as far as I know there is only one moving part in the cooling system, long story short, dad told them to replace the waterpump and thermostat and the thing ran perfect for another 20000 miles until the timing chain went bad, point is there are some shops that possibly aren't as truthful or knowledgable as they should be, however I believe there are some out there that aren't out to rob you either.

Didn't you know??? Most cars built for the ohio market were factory equipped without turn signals, you had to pay extra for that, that's why god gave us a finger used to offend people

Even if you get a world class t-5, they are only good to 300 or 350 torque, good enough for most gen 1 sbc's, but once you start building one then your better off with a t-56, or maybe an old t-10 4 speed but I'm not too sure what they can handle

I would put your cars up for a couple weeks, then when you have the free time just park a car outside and hide where you can see them, then if they look well enough over 18 open up a can of whoop-ass then call them an ambulance, I mean who's gonna think you did it then? If they would just get the interiors right I'd be a lot more apt to think about buying at least a gt. I just can't stand the flat boring area around the radio and heat/a/c controls. Gm finally got most of their interiors right so come on Ford, step it up a bit and along with the new drive trains they'd have a solid hit in my mind.

 

^^agreed^^ not a big fan of fords, but it is a nice looking car and its a 5.0 that doesn't come apart at the seams making more than 500 hp. Interrior does leave a little to be desired though, especially with a price tag like that
