  1. Oh, maybe a bad number the guy at work gave me. I will definately stop by there when I get the chance then. Thanks!
  2. The last time I tried to call Ohio engine builders it said the number was disconnected. If you happen to go there and they are still open please let me know (I need some machine work too and I hear this guy is really good).
  3. I wouldn't rule out fuel related, WOT is when the engine is going to demand the most fuel. Fuel filter is not a bad place to start, at least if it is not the problem it's cheap.
  4. I have another helmet, I just like this one better (weird I know).
  5. Do you guys carry visors? I need a new one for my helmet, but I am not sure what I need (bought it off ebay years ago).
  6. The other bike (82 Honda Magna v45) belongs to a friend of mine. Also rebuilt the carbs for him, but still needs some work. It does run (has not been started since before winter though), but not currently rideable. Last I talked to him it is for sale, but it has been since October since I have spoken to him.
  7. Tank is original and clean on the inside too, also the rear brakes are mechanical and the fronts have been rebuilt/replaced.
  8. Yeah, up until last year it sat since '90. I convinced the po to let me take it and get it running for him again (good friend of my dad I have known since I was a child, also the original owner). The carbs have been rebuilt and the bike completely gone through by a professional to make sure it is safe to ride. Mechanically it is perfect, and for the next few weeks I am going to start taking things apart to clean it up. I will try to clean up some of the oxidation on some of the cast aluminum parts, the crash bar is coming off, try to clean some of the chrome that can be cleaned. Next winter I plan to paint the fenders and take it further apart and really clean/replace some stuff.
  9. Just brought it home, its an 86 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. She needs some work (cleaned up mostly) but the miles are low. Just something for me to put around town comfortably on this spring/summer. Sorry if the pics are huge/shitty, I am posting this from my phone. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/Mobile%20Uploads/20150316_193506_zpsokjhepaf.jpg http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/Mobile%20Uploads/20150316_193450_zpshiod4cae.jpg The miles are original miles. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/Mobile%20Uploads/20150316_193533_zpshrbae9nt.jpg
  10. If any are from an s-10 they are not the same as the ones that came in the full size truck. Iirc the chevy bellhousing is not detachable, at least not on the one in my garage but it is from a v6.
  11. Good luck finding that trans, I have one sitting in my garage that belongs to a buddy of mine (blown). He has been searching for a replacement for a year now without much luck. Nice find on the engine though.
  12. I think you missed the sarcasm.
  13. Why the fuck would someone jump out of a perfectly good plane? Have fun though!
  14. I was going to enter my accord in this, but by the time I found out about it, it was too late.
  15. I got one of these about a year ago. Seems the only way out of it (on the ticket they sent me) was to say the car was stolen or you have to name the person driving it. The state gon' get their money one way or another...
  16. Looks like Eli has a good idea, have you thought about trying to find one with a bad motor or something?
  17. Probably sometime this weekend, I will pm you later.
  18. I use it still, just skip what is not in the problem. There is still an order of operations no matter how the problem is set up.
  19. In order to make any kind of money on this car you would probably have to part it out then scrap the shell.
  20. I have a 82 magna in my driveway that I was working on for a buddy (rebuilt the carbs for him' but the slides for the chokes are stuck). It runs but needs some work. Last I talked to him he was wanting to sell it, I will talk to him tonight if I can and see if he still wants to sell.
  21. I just went out to get pizza a little bit ago, coming home I managed to find a mini canyon in the road with my car. It jarred the hell out of the car and I thought for sure I would have a flat, guess I am lucky though (knock on wood) and there was no damage. Fuck potholes. I am usually pretty good at avoiding them, but they are almost impossible to spot when it is dark and raining.
  22. You could always call about the other cars that just sit there untouched. Maybe they would move the one in front of your house if there is more room to park.
