Next time drive through with your high beams on so you can see the speed bumps. If you're feeling froggy "accidentally" hit the horn every time you hit a speed bump "because it is so violent". Or just avoid it and let them deal with cleaning up the aftermath of someone elses car plowing their yard.

Looking at this and then looking at your avatar made me lol.

Take a look at the run/stop switch and the starter button and make sure all the contacts are good. Also take a look at the starter relay and make sure its good. After that, start tracing wires.

You know you could have driven it home if it were a 6 speed car...

How firm are those requirements? There are a couple I don't meet expirence wise (I also am not a lisenced electrician), but I have a good knowledge of most everything described.

When was the last time you had the valves adjusted? I'm thinking maybe a small backfire in the exhaust.

I live just east of 71 (not even a half a mile). From my experience in the last 10 years, if you are east of the freeway, the closer to 71 you are the better you are. The housing is cheaper than west of the freeway, but west of the freeway is better. Where I am in particular is not a bad place at all, but if you are east of the freeway, stay north of Hudson. Fwiw, Cleveland ave and east of there (linden area) is a real shithole.

I had no idea about the 350z trans. What mods do you need to make it fit? Sounds like it would be a worth while swap, sucks the v160 demands such a supra tax (as does the r154 as well I suppose).

Found this with a quick google search.

Is the 350z trans stronger than a r154? I've always heard the r154 is pretty stout (but I suppose it, like anything else, has its limits).
