We went up to the Airstrip Attack 1/2 mile event this weekend in Marion Indiana hosted by ShiftS3ctor. Great venue, ran very well. I set a goal to get into the 160's, and I got there. Barely. Ended up having some minor mechanical issues during the day. One was my fault for being lazy. I knew the AC belt was worn out and decided not to change it. Well, it snapped on my first run taking out the SC belt. Thankfully I brought spares. Did my next pass, came back to the pit and noticed my fuel rail was leaking fuel at the Schrader valve. Couldn't locate anyone with a tig (or spare fuel rail) so that was the end of the day for us. It was cool seeing UGR run and setting a record (256.99). I will def being going back again soon. You don't want to stay anywhere close to the Zoo. That whole area sucks and it's not that nice. How close do you want to be? You can stay about 20 minutes north at the Union center exit. There a few nice hotels right off the highway and a lot of good places to eat.

Went to Mexico and raced a friends 7xx WHP 5.OH. From 2nd gear. Close race until I get into 4th.

You should be able to find a local place to store your trailer. I store mine at a storage place for $20 a month. $30 if I wanted to park it on concrete instead of gravel.
