  1. Julius' last name is Poa. He indeed cuts the film on the car by hand; no cutting plotter. He used to use pre-cut kits but that's many years ago when paint protection film started to emerge.
  2. Shorts are fine; please do refrain from wearing a Speedo-brand pair of shorts though. Better than looking stupid on the autox day since you didn't ask questions beforehand
  3. FTD = Fastest Time of the Day
  4. That would be a major project converting a RWD into a WWD; or were you talking Four Wheel HP ? Twin engine ? I want to see this.
  5. Beats fuel starvation. On sweepers, some cars get fuel starvation and it costs more time than carrying around extra weight that's not even a percent of total mass. Besides, if you are concerned about fuel weight, your car is capable of and you are gunning for FTD, right ?
  6. Those are about right. Go through the car tonight; top off fluids, add air to your tires (so you don't need to scramble to find compressed air source tomorrow), check if lugs are tight, check if battery hold down is tight, leave unnecessary things at home (to reduce clutter and shorten unloading and pack up times tomorrow), and bring blue painter's tape if you don't have numbers. If you have a tent, bring that too so your buddies can have a shelter from the hot sun
  7. Yea, it's better when installed w/o any paint imperfection. Julius also installed it on my B302
  8. Scott, Joe was pulling my leg.
  9. I had Julius installed one on the Solstice this past Monday. Busted out the EZ UP so the front of the car could sit on the driveway without too much sun but still there was daylight; my garage is kinda dark and too cluttered. The bumper is covered in almost one piece if it wasn't for the lip in the bottom. Headlights are covered in one piece each. The windshield frame is in 3 pieces; there is no need to waste so much material. The wing mirrors are also in 3 pieces to ensure more coverage. Additional pieces are for the pockets of the exterior door handles. Finally, peace of mind http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/2008%20Pontiac%20Solstice%20GXP/Photo0497.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/2008%20Pontiac%20Solstice%20GXP/Photo0498.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/2008%20Pontiac%20Solstice%20GXP/Photo0499.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/2008%20Pontiac%20Solstice%20GXP/Photo0500.jpg
  10. I'm racing Sunday only this weekend.
  11. Not all road-course events require Snell SA-rated helmets. The current Snell rating is still 2010; next one won't be out until 2015.
  12. Someone's sleeping in the garage tonight.
  13. So you are the second person on CR who thinks I'm a douche.
  14. OoO ! I just remembered. I can use the CTS-V 19" set or the 19" set of C6 rear wheels with the crappy Nankang.
  15. I'm seriously offended by that comment.
