There is no way around a rental trailer. If it was a one-way, it would cost hundreds of dollars. If it was returned to the same place (pick up in Columbus and drop off in Columbus), it would be cheap for one day, for that many days it would be expensive. It would probably cost less to buy a used one, either in MD or in OH, and use it for the purpose and then sell it again. The cheapest is, of course, borrowing one from a friend.

4G63 is a Mitsubishi engine. The "6-bolt" term refers to the 6 fasteners that attach the flywheel to the crankshaft. It's the first iteration and it's supposed to be stronger overall.

That's a possibility. Drum friction surface can still be affected by the elements creating uneven friction. The parking brake test seems to point in that direction. Have the drums turned if replacement is cost prohibitive.

If you're ready for and set on a B-body wagon, let me know. I know where to find two generations in a near-mint condition. They won't be $2k each, but very affordable.

It's not surprising that a Corvette from this generation having a problem with its battery; actually it's expected. The high mileage, for a Corvette, and the combination of powertrain and drivetrain do not contribute to the resale value. They were produced in a massive number and the ones that command high prices usually have a big block coupled to a manual transmission.

The second numbers are backspacing. Calculated offsets are 41 mm and 44 mm for the 12-in and 13-in wheels, respectively.

I have done it, 5x115 on 5x114.3 and vice versa also 5x120 on 5x120.65 and vice versa.
