The rear end is updated if the model year is older. My '5 has a revised diff performed in '7. The '4-'5 engine is not LS7, it's 5.7l LS6 out of C5 Z06, slightly detuned. LS7 has a 7l displacement.

Can you do black chrome lip ? Black lip will disappear in the black tire. Also, can you have the barrel reversed (so the outboard lip is smooth and not stepped) and use larger disc ?

It doesn't need to be Torque Thrust style, there are a bunch of other wheels in that website not limited to American Racing brand. Another style of my favorites is Centerline California Smoothies. Have Centerline make it with an oversized disc welded to the barrel in reverse so the outer lip is smooth, then have them drill the valve hole facing inward. Finish it in full polish with an optional clear powder coat or coat the whole thing in PVD or some other color with that certain coating (I can't remember the name) discussed in another thread.

Kale, MDX uses the same PCD as BMW. If the cost of one OEM wheel was quite high, you could get a set of aftermarket intended for a BMW for not much more.

The process is affectionately called "Pre Purchase Inspection" or PPI. It's usually performed by a dealer of the marque but I suppose it can be done by almost any car repair place. If the vehicle is a BMW or a Honda/Acura, I have some suggestions, otherwise I have only one place that comes to mind.
