  1. Dang, I would've bought most of these when I still had my Boss 302.
  2. I thought Ranger Edge had a 2wd drivetrain with a 4wd suspension.
  3. Take the C5 to autox instead.
  4. Sorry to see such a horrible damage, glad to know you are ok.
  5. The waxers are those who enable GM to sell Corvettes for a relatively low pricing level. They may not agree with the racers when it comes to the usage of a Corvette but I can't complain.
  6. Start with offerings from Tire Rack, then see if you can get them cheaper; try Rock Auto.
  7. Suspension design on a Mustang always left lots more to be desired.
  8. Accessorize ! Jewelry, hand bag, sunglasses, etc.
  9. I'd take the stock-sized slicks over the oversized street radials, as far as autox goes.
  10. Never cared about Saab, doesn't care about Saab, and I can't care any less for its future.
  11. It would probably be more economically feasible to buy properly-sized springs with a rate similar to stock.
  12. Dang, this ad is over a month too late.
  13. We usually have a composite tree, but since my step sister & her husband are in the country for the first time, I decided to get a fresh-cut, 8' Frasier Fir from a local Home Depot. I was rather surprised that it wasn't expensive. I borrowed a pickup truck and hauled it a short distance home. The tree is lit with four strings of new LED lights (old ones got too many bulbs burned out) and since it's much larger than the composite, it's decorated with nearly all the decorations we have. The limbs and branches are much more flexible, so some heavier decorations were placed closer to the trunk or skipped. So far the tree needs watered and the needles vacuumed daily which are no big deal to me. It gives the room a pleasantly woody and piney scent. The skunk was curious at first and investigated it, but after a few feeble attempts, the tree was deemed safe and left alone.
  14. IPS has done alignment on most of my vehicles. Stas would even allow me to sit in the car to simulate driver weight while he adjusted it. If the car is a Corvette, it's either Danny Popp at McCluskey Chevrolet or Lloyd at Corvette Care.
  15. What's the specs on the Suburban ? What condition ?
  16. I want my click back. 2/10
  17. Autox is a low-cost, grassroot-level form of motorsport. It can be taken to all kinds of different levels but it's not the initial spirit. Safety equipment which comes with the car and a helmet meeting the club requirements are all that's needed. During the race day, the car will be inspected and it will have to be mechanically sound; no loose battery, leak, and everything has to be in order. The car should be free of loose item which may hit occupant, create damage, or ejected from the car. Adorning a firesuit at an autox may invoke stare and quiet chuckles.
  18. That's the symptom when the brake master cylinder in my Z06 went bad. Pedal slowly went to the floor when stopped, for example, at a red light. There was no fluid loss, so my speculation was it leaked internally.
  19. Chad, try this http://www.willtheyfit.com/
  20. I actually know that place since I follow a certain food truck.
