  1. The VR1 is $3.49 using this search. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PartSearchCmd?actionSrc=Form&pageId=partTypeList&searchTerm=valvoline+vr1&zoneAssigned=1&catalogId=10051&vehicleIdSearch=-1&langId=-1&searchedFrom=header&y=13&x=57&redirectedPage=1&storeId=10151
  2. German cars don't need oil filtering; their engines are throw-aways.
  3. I thought the VR1 was already at $3.49.
  4. I would have never mentioned picking up a set of E3 spark plugs on such a public forum if I were you ...
  5. Call them up, otherwise they can advise where to get them.
  6. I have bought cherrystones from Frank's Fish and Seafood Market; its location is in Hilliard off of Renner Rd and Trabue Rd which I do not consider shady. Try Sam's Club and Costco too.
  7. Up until my trailer was stolen, I towed my heavy, steel Kwikload trailer (~2,000 lbs) to haul my Z06 (~3,150 lbs) with a '3 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3l. The truck was rated to tow 7,400 lbs and I had no problem towing. A 3/4-ton or a 1-ton would have been way overkill, but some people insisted that I didn't have enough truck.
  8. What are the specs of your wheels ?
  9. If I may ask, what car is it that you are going to buy ?
  10. I had Pilot Transport pick up my then-new Z06 from NH and deliver it home. The company is used by Honda to transport prototypes and production cars alike. Payment was due upon delivery.
  11. First of all, the stain needs to be removed correctly at the first try. Second washing would not do much. The principle is to gradually remove oils until it's something easily removed by detergent. So, the spilled oil needs to be thinned out. I would use WD40 or the likes. Don't throw them in the washer, but do this outside. Spray all the motor oil until it's "replaced" by WD40 and the run down is clear. Next, you will need even lighter oil or mild petroleum-based solvent. Goof Off or Goo Gone will work, but depending on the delicacy of the garment, Stoner's Tarminator might be a better choice. Make sure all WD40 has been "replaced". I would wait for several minutes for the excess to evaporate then throw the garments in the washer with hot or very warm water. Double dose the detergent and set it at the longest agitating cycle; repeat the cycle 2-3x, if need be, then let the washer runs through. Repeat if they still smell like the light oil/solvent. Good luck.
  12. It's already dirty with a few sprinkles this morning mixed with pollen.
  13. Yes, I actually looked them up; forgot to mention it. The VS3 is nice
  14. Background - I've been scouring the internet to get ideas for a wheel intended for my newly-acquired 350Z. It's been overwhelming at best What I have learned - A bunch of wheel models that I like. From SSR Vienna (Kreis) to several models under Weds (Kranze to Leon Hardiritt to Maverick); even some Giovanna models, GFG, MRR, TSW (don't laugh), CCW, HRE, DPE, most with the word "Forged", Brock, Avant Garde, Rota (don't laugh), XXR (did I say that outloud ?), Rays, Stance, and even more. Some are so expensive, some are just expensive, and the rest are still affordable. I don't mind used wheels, there are some I can afford new. The range of styles is quite complex. I'm not quite a wheel connoisseur but I think there are about 3-4 different styles that I like plus their combinations. BBS-style mesh and its variations are a no-no and the only metal plating considered is copper (good luck with that one); chrome is out unless it's for lip. Machined or mirror-polished finishes are good. What I think I want (finally, some limits, right ?) - My ultimate goal is 20" and I'll settle for 19"; 18" will be my bare minimum and I don't want 18" unless it has specific "redeeming qualities". Please, nothing bigger than 20". I would like to stay with 10.5" width front and rear. I really don't want to deal with anything 12" or wider right now; it is indeed a temptation to stretch a 295. So, what's your favorite ?
  15. Sorry, Clay, I don't have a FaceBook account.
  16. These are the stock wheels out of my '8 350Z. Silver in color and they can be considered "concave". They are straight and they don't have any bend, gouge, crack, or curb rash. 17. I own no bike & I wasn't at NTR, so that wasn't me. We AZNs do look alike ...
  18. Maybe bringing the newest member of my stable, maybe.
  19. Grade is 1.99/10. Lame tough-guy-wannabe language, jumpy story plot, and lousy in general.
  20. Sharp-looking truck for a nice low monthly payment !
