    07 CTS V

GM issued revisions for all model years.
  3. I'm sorry, but I have to pass. It is only half a mile from where I live but I'm not standing around outdoor in this miserable weather to have a picture of my daily drivers taken; I'd be more inclined if any of my other four were available.
  4. ROTFL. $19k for an SN95, I wouldn't pay a quarter of that.

    Tonight 10/26

I pass; tonight I'm going to help decorate a friend's house for a Halloween party tomorrow night and then hang out, a party-eve party !
  6. I guess I should clear up one thing, I'm trying to acquire the truck. I agree that there has to be an appraisal process as I have no clue how to put a value on such a vehicle. Currently, there are pieces of information that need to be checked and confirmed. So far, I've gotten a way to decipher a VIN of a '59 Chevy and GMC truck but still looking for a way to verify number-matching. Also, I have very little idea how a stock '59 Apache 3100 looked like, in detail, when new; things like placement of the tail lights (e.g. is it the correct height ? About the same height as lights on the fleetside box ?), color scheme (e.g. was the "CHEVROLET" script on the tailgate body-colored or painted white like the pictures depicts ?), and a bunch of others. It will take only time, right ?
  7. I never said I was the owner.
  8. Mine is sitting in my garage.
  9. This is a 1959 Chevrolet Apache; it's 2wd, 6cyl, and manual transmission. As far as I can tell, it's a restored original. Undercarriage is sterile without a speck of rust; not even surface rust. The bed floor has nice, slightly weathered (not distressed) wood planks which can be refinished richer and darker stain. There are minor things that need attention to make it perfect (other than the bed); namely weatherstrip replacement, mild paint correction (including fixing the paint on the front bumper), emblem and lighting detailing, and a few other small items. As far as I can tell, the body and the chassis are straight and glasses are perfect (no crack or pitting). Does anyone know the value of such a truck ? Is $10k too much ? $5k ? $50k ? http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/1959%20Chevy%20Apache/Photo0619.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/1959%20Chevy%20Apache/Photo0620.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk247/2003BlackZ06/1959%20Chevy%20Apache/Photo0618.jpg

  11. I got one but it's brown. PM me if interested.
  12. There are cars that I choose to drive in the salted roads and there are those that I choose to keep away from. Why don't you run 16s in that Accord of yours already ?
  13. I said I couldn't race. Maybe you have some kind of contraption to race, my Z06 with slicks just isn't it. Don't try to twist what I was trying to say, you knew full well what I meant.
  14. I don't want any more snow; as I get older I also become less & less tolerable to cold temperatures. Last winter was nice but in the future such a mild winter will eventually become intolerable. It also irritates me that I can't race & the roads are salted (lending to accelerated corrosion) in the cold months.
  15. Lying is not a crime in this country.
  16. Sometime last year. I don't think they needed to take a picture of your car sans FLP.
