Having been parts of mini owners group and active on mini boards for quite some time the only real issue with the non S early cars is the junk auto trans. If you are going to get a manual then it really is t an issue. They are also pretty bare bones. Not a whole lot that can go wrong with them. We aren't talking about a beat to shit S class or early 7 series here with electronic gizmos galore. Oh and if you are content with a non S do not drive an S. The non S Mimi's are fun and enjoyable until you drive an S then you will never want a non S.

I LOVED my r53 cooper S. It was awesome to drive. They are a lot bigger inside then they appear. They are pretty comfy and can throw more stuff in the trunk then you would think. I drove it from south Florida to New York City to Ohio and plenty of mountain passes. Perfect car to enjoy twisty roads. Stay far away from the autos in the non S models. They are junk. I drink a pot of coffee every morning before breakfast. Either Starbucks morning joe or Sumatra. Afternoon it's always a venti americano from Starbucks (espresso and water). I would say I am addicted as well. I joke and say I gave up alcohol for coffee because I never drank coffee when I drank alcohol. I hate K cups. The flavor is terrible and tasted toxic. I also do not understand french press. It's a pain in the ass and to hipster for me.

I had a fx35 for awhile and although not a G it certainly shared the main components with it so I'll speak only on engine/trans. I have wanted a G for awhile for a daily ESP when I had my IS300. The G is light years better then the IS. If you are a guy who likes to mod the G is only good for visual mods. So tint, wheels and suspension. Bolt ons are useless and any aftermarket exhaust sounds terrible. You have to be content with the Hp from the start. Other then that they are awesome drivers. Handle great, just enough power and the factory exhaust sound is pretty great in my opinion.

The Vols were on a hot streak last year and absolutely destroyed northwestern in the outback bowl. Joshua Dobbs is a legit QB and they have those two great running backs Hurd and whatever his name is. There D was playing great football at the end of last season. I really feel they are going to prove a bunch of people wrong, they have all the talent of a great team.

Les is in the hot seat so I wouldn't be surprised by a strong LSU season. They have the talent. LSU or bama will be the west champion. I really think Tenneessee is going to be strong. I'm interested to see how Georgia does under Smart.

I think Tenneessee is in the sec championship game this year against bama. Bama's D is suppose to be even nastier then last year and for the first time in awhile they have a stacked receiver group. QB is a mystery again and we will see how Bo Scarborough holds up as the main back. I think the Pac 12 misses the playoff. I can't wait to watch Oklahoma burn stomp the Buckeyes. Michigan takes the big 10 this year. My four teams in the playoffs are Clemson Bama Oklahoma Michigan Wild card teams Stanford and Houston. NCG bama vs Clemson rematch.

Which dealer is the best when it comes to warranty repair? Don't want to get jacked around. The wagon is showing signs of common rust under the window In the rear tailgate. BMW extended the warranty for 12 years so it will be covered. Kelly is close to the house but their service people have been extremely rude on the phone when we spoke about a different issue.

So I have had the wagon for just over a month now. Not a day goes by that I don't love the car. In the last week I finally have all mods installed engine wise. I still want to upgrade the intercooler and do downpipes but I'll tackle that this winter when I put upgraded twins In it. So I got the bms dual cone intake installed, switched from the Cobb accessport to the JB4 G5. My car didn't like the Cobb for some reason. Also added upgraded chargepipe and tial bov. Lastly I replaced all the factory rubber/braided vacuum hoses to silicone. I can honestly say the chargepipe and silicone hoses made a huge difference. I'm running 30% E85 on the auto tune map. With the jb4 you have tons of options and features and I have the speedo and tach sweep full right to left on start up like the z06.
