  1. Audi A4 Quattro. It's the rear hub
  2. It's seated in the hub. Need to be pressed in and pressed out. Evidently they are a real bitch. Pulled hub from car. I would rather just drop hub and new bearing off someplace and pick it up when it's finished.
  3. Hey we're on the east side can I have a wheel bearing pressed in? Have a hub off car. Does Napa or a place like that do it?

    NFL Draft

Lots of good talent not taken yesterday. I have a feeling the second and third round is going to be more exciting then the first round. All media outlets are confused why Chicago would give up a fourth round pick to move up and take Floyd. Terrible pick. Still pissed.

Reggie Ragland. He is a leader and a great player. The Bears need a defensive leader like Urlacher used to be. Ragland would have been perfect for that. Also would t have minded Moving up for Buckner.

    Hate my bears pick.
  7. This is the 2.8 V6 so no turbos to deal with. I will say the passat and my blue a4 avant I bought last year never had turbo issues. The dash pixels are about 60% functional. The entire cluster is fine it's just the center lcd display that's the issue. You can get them repaired but $100ish
  8. Very true. Was pleasantly surprised by their ethnicity as well as learning the husband was from Alabama and a big Tide fan.
  9. I seriously do not understand your hate. I think I know this platform pretty well by now. The V6 is regarded as the much more reliable engine, the Quattro tranny is solid. This one doesn't suffer from any electrical issues. I'm not scared of high mileage vehicles like some. Perhaps it's because I know how to work on cars and car repair anything myself. I keep a car for maybe 6 months tops and like all the others in sure I will make money off of it when I sell.
  10. Yes if you pay a shop to replace all the control arms and bushings it adds up really fast. If you are smart and can work on your own car it's really not bad at all. I drive maybe 6 miles a day on a normal day. Tackling the bushings is not on my priority list right now.
  11. I really wanted a Quattro and even if I swapped the manual trans into my Passat it would still be fwd. when this thing popped up I new I had to have it. Pearl white is very rare on avant and with black leather in almost perfect condition it sealed the deal. It's funny the couple I got it from had this and a older A6 wagon as a parts car. They wanted a whopping $750 for the pair. I have no use for the a6 so I snagged mine for $550. They had no idea what they had. Took it to a mechanic and was quoted 2k+ in suspension. Repair and valve cover gaskets so they just wanted to sell it. The lady drove it daily to and from OSU campus 5 days a week 60+ miles a day. The new tires every four months got to her haha. Anyway my ECS box showed up today so valve cover, can seals, CCT half moon being replaced tomorrow and H&R cup kit also going on.
  12. Oh it has a shit ton. 200k but it drives wonderfully
  13. Picked this beast up today. 1998 B5 Avant Quattro and V6. Motor is great and trans is awesome. Came with bilsteins sport shocks. Black leather heated seats. It needs rear control arm bushings as it eats tires after 4 months and valve cover gaskets. Paid $550 for it. Picked it up outside of Newark and drove it home and around all day. Put about 100 miles on it already. Love the V6 compared to the 1.8t. I got really sick and tired of messing with check valves and vacuum hoses and chasing down stupid sensors. Btw sold my Passat and parts car and all parts. Made good money on it. Anyway here it is. Slamming it over the weekend and addressing the valve cover issues. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/B3FB0DB6-2724-4942-9CFA-6E2B1BD0996D_zpsrgke1pww.jpg Interior after a quick wipe down. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/2E39AE86-7196-4EA1-B8B2-40B70E7BCD44_zpskkudcrk2.jpg
  14. That Baker one handed pick was really impressive. Crazy you guys had 100k at the spring game that's bonkers. In Bama news the D is just as stout if not crazier then last season. Completely loaded. Our offense has a ton of top receivers and a good O line but zero at quarterback or running back. I feel this is going to be a bad year as a bama fan. The A game finished with a whopping 7-3 score
  15. I don't understand the cutting the cord ESP with answers like, for live sports we go out. We pay $190 a month for time warner with fast internet, all the channels, showtime and HBO and we have HD boxes on our two main TV's and dvr. If we cut the cord we would still pay $60 ish for Internet and then we would go out atleast 4 times a month on Saturdays and each sports bar bill would be a minimum of $60 per Saturday. I wouldn't save any money cutting the cord.
  16. Cardale can't keep his mouth shut and stop ranting on Twitter. NFL teams do not like a guy that can't keep his thoughts to themselves. It's going to cost him

    F-ing Tinder

This chick without make up will look like a walking dead zombie. Plus look at how pointy those elbows are
  18. Rosa and Rocco's is one if our favorite restaurants. There old Sunday brunch was the best in Columbus with all you can eat prime rib. Now you are limited to one piece but still amazing. They have a private room behind the bar that could accommodate your 30 people. Great food and price well.
  19. Bump. $150 takes it. Need it out of my garage
  20. Selling a 2 ton engine hoist. This is a solid steel heavy duty hoist. American made and works great. Listed on CL for $250 I'll let it go to a member here for $200.
  21. Good choice. Now time for an M bumper and a jb4
  22. Doesn't get better then this http://hooniverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/535i-wagon-2-700x466.jpg
  23. My brother in law just bought a E60 535i per my recommendation. His only regret is not buying one sooner. He absolutely loves it and he spends about and hour and a half each way to work everyday. The car has good power and Bolt ons and tune really transform the car. It has a timeless design and truly stands out, something the newer bmws lack I think). When I am done playing with my passat wagon i will be moving to a 535 wagon as my daily. 535 wagon with m5 front bumper and nice wheels is about as good as it gets for me.
  24. Slim Jim I must, snap into I will.
  25. My car is far from stanced I prefer a gloss black roof and would like to cover some scratches
