The auto dealers do not want competition from Tesla and feel discrimination they they have tons of inventory and a dealership. Tesla is going into malls and giving you the ability to order a car on line rather than having tons of inventory out in dealerships. Have you seen the Tesla stock? It is up 50% in 3 weeks. This may be the new model for car sales.

You are correct on all of the points on expenses, they just don't want more riders. More riders means even more expense. Bottom line is, they want your money and use the ride as a way to get there. High dollars per rider reduces the number of riders, increases profit. A group of you should start another event with different rules to accommodate these riders who want to help.

While I hear what you guys are saying about the high price of donation admission, Just a note.... You riding a bike cures nothing, however the donations you raise will do something. Because so many people want to ride and the high cost of organizing the event with police and support staff, they limit the attendance by maintaining a minimum donation. It is really not that hard using social media these days.

I love selling total knees, but would only want one if it was a last resort. It is major surgery, regardless of what anyone might say. They work great, cartilage replacement is a new option.

You should be seen by a sports medicine doctor as soon as possible. It might be the fact that nothing that can be fixed, but if it is something that can be fixed, it will prevent further damage that may predestine you for a total joint replacement down the road. There are several new treatments for knee damage that did not exist just a few years ago. I would want to at least be evaluated before it becomes possibly unrepairable.
