  1. Maybe if the dumbass media quit giving these fuck the attention they set out to get they would be less prevalent. It's a tight spot because attention needs to be brought to the lives lost and not swept under the rug, but all these psychotics are out for IMO is the nationwide attention where their name is known or mentioned in every household.
  2. This thread is turning the V8 folk into Honda guys.

It's not going to be fair to everyone, it's called life.

Only way it would be fair to all is if you cut it down to classes separating it by cylinders, and power adder type.

    I4 N/A

    I4 boosted

    I4 sprayed

    6 cylinder n/a

    Etc.

By then it won't be a king of the streets, it will be a king of each class per cylinders.

Compete with what you've got. It's life not everyone will be a winner. If you are thinking about whp/lb smaller cube cars for the most part will have the same advantages. A boosted Honda hatch comes in and takes the cake.

  3. It's because they watched that episode of top gear... And bash on lt1 packages for there cobalt like interior..

I believe it was Cavalier. You yourself said "The base lt1 interior is nasty.. " But carry on with the facts pulled from thin air, ill be here all day.

Even though I have a built drive train that's "rated" for 800rwhp slightest wheel hop and you can kiss 10k$ good bye.
  4. I've seen F-body's with AC/power steering/full interior run 9s. Am I supposed to be impressed that the "new technology super car" GT-R can do that? Everyone saying a C6Z isn't a smooth ride and is cheap and unreliable are high on crack. The C6Z is one of the smoothest most comfortable sports cars I've ever driven.

I've seen maybe 2 or 3 f body's that have. Iirc I never said the C6 had a bad ride, the only thing I mentioned was the shitty interior quality. GT-R's don't have 3 cars out of the entirety of the platform running those times....

EDIT: AMS' shop car ran an 8.62 @ 173.81 on 35psi with room to increase it. That was at TX2K12 and anyone familiar with it knows the track isn't necessarily "fully prepped."

  5. I know myself and most my family sleep within an arm's reach of our cell's.

Best thing I could offer you to do is call the local Butler Co. OSHP station and see if you can get any info. At this hour I'm not sure if they will have a dedicated "receptionist" for lack of better term, but usually each outpost has minimum 1-2 officers on location if I've been told correctly.

  6. Here we go....

Just google texas king of street event.. The fastest street cars in north America went to that event. I don't consider any of those street legal in my book. C16 Race gas=race car.. If its pump gas then it's street legal.. But since you seen stock vs stock it's about time you seen the most modded cars fight it off

How can it be king of the street when none of those cars are streetable? Let alone driveable by your average person for more than a day with comfort in mind. A GTR can go runs 10's, hell even 9's, cruise home with the windows up, A/C on and still hear the radio crystal clear.

I would like to see how much power it would make on 93 octane if it would even run on 93.. C16 = race car.. Make me eat my own words and show my the fastest pump gas gtr.. I know there some fast e85 set ups but not no c16

I'm sure they are deep into the 12's, I'm sure if I looked hard enough I'll find slips for you along with dyno sheets and actual numbers. Something you yourself have lacked the ability to produce.

Cute you must of got that from nagyroc website.. I may stand corrected but didn't lmr c6 60-191 in 1,500 feet where as that 1,500 Awhp gtr manage to get 186 at best but ran a 176 on there final run against lmr c6 which he ran 189 trap that time... All while in drag radials and not slicks.. I'm curious what that c6 60-130 is.. Prob line 2.8.. I think ugr made it to the top 5 contenders but I could be wrong.. I'm really curious about pump gas boosted c6 vs pump gas gtr would turn out

It's NAGTROC. The rest of this is simply numbers and figures thrown around with no valid links or anything of these facts.

Glad I'm not the only one who like ricer rolls.. As you see on that 150 shot h/c c6z with (worlds fastest 6 speed 1/4 c6 corvette) would be in the 5.4-7 range.. There are a hell of a lot faster c6's just no one want to risk it. Something tells me there's faster cars than that.. A 1080rwhp c6 went 3.95 just imagine bam bam's 1,500rwhp m6 c6... Check the king of street battle between lmr and lethals 1,200rwhp c6 just in the 1,500 feet there was football fields between them

Again, more air filled numbers with no valid proof.

Lmr doesn't care for a list.. They go to legitimate street roll events and win them.. 60mph to w/e they can muster in 1,500 feet. Trapping 6mph more than that 1,500hp gtr ony because traction limited. (they was on drag radials) I wonder how scared that gtr driver would be if they swapped cars and how easy the vette driver would have it in a gtr.. Both wicked cars for sure though

More numbers backed by nothing...It's called run what the fuck you brung. I'm sorry but the only thing a C6 would possibly have on a GTR is 1/4 mile times, which judging by the way you've been talking is all you care about anyways, rather than making the car something fun for more than 10...well 11-12 seconds at a time.

And by the way, I'd like to see the $10,000+ in receipts you've got in that drivetrain....:dumb:

  7. At one point early this year gm was giving away brand new lt1 base c6 @38k$

Because that was the only way they could sell them....no one wanted them...how many thousands of dollars did GM spend on it's marketing for the C6's? LOADS. Ever see a GT-R commercial? Don't even say yes because their weren't any. Nissan has a reputation of making great shit.

    GM...well...piston slap, dried lifters....

A new GT-R that would spank and outlast a 'Vette is $96,820. Call around to Nissan Dealers and see if they have as many sitting around as Chevy does of 'Vette's. :dumb:

EDIT: And also Carlos Ghosn's goal wasn't for it to be affordable for someone in a mid-life crisis. It was for a serious enthusiast that didn't want to spend well into the 100g's for a Porsche...they did that and more.

  8. The base lt1 interior is nasty.. When you get an lt3 it gets nice... Heated leather seats, heads up display, touch screen radio, 12 way adjustable seat, memory seats, not bad or a sports car IMHO

But there is yet another valid point. Nissan doesn't make you add all these "packages" and "trims" and options. They say "Oh, hey, you have some brains, instead of making this more complex than needed, we will give you either A. The model that kicks ass or B. The model that REALLY kicks ass.

  9. Gtr looks like an maxima... The only people that would look would be car enthusiasts. If you see a corvette there point and click and 90% time there's an old dude driving. In the ring both cars perform well for there price and it all depends what suspension mods etc for which would win in the ring.. Btw it's not just the 1320.. Standing mile, half mile, 40-200 you name it

    http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s474/geeesammy/2012_nissan_maxima_sedan_35-sv_fq_oem_2_500_zps37baf459.jpg

    Are you on crack?

  10. Better off getting a silva, throw a gtr body kit.. Do a r34 swap.. That's the poor mans gtr but w/e you do... Do not put neons on it or stickers.. Btw jones gtr>r8 stock for stock and max effort.. Gtr>c6... Stock but max effort c6>gtr

A C6 may be able to go 1320' faster, but put a 700WHP GT-R and a 700WHP 'Vette on the 'Ring and see what happens. Then drive each on the street and see which is more comfortable and fun to drive... and also turns more heads. ;) I've always loved Vette's but one would be foolish to take a C6 over a GT-R. Shit Top Gear tested a C6 and it didn't even have 100 miles on the odometer before the interior was falling apart :dumb:

  11. In a few years you'll be able to pick up a decently modded GT-R in good shape with lower miles than a ZR1 or ZL1 for less, and kick the shit out of it. Plus have a better interior :lolguy:
  12. I like to be different .. and they're different

What in the fuck? Are you serious? EVERYONE has heard of those things, and if they were as cheap to get stateside as you thought they were every riceboy faggot would think he's Paul Walker. Yeah, you can find an RB26 Skyline for dirt cheap on those Japanese "JDM BRO" Import sites because those cars had a power steering leak, the gov't over there deemed them unable to be driven, and have been sitting for 5-10+ years. At least that's what happens with the motors. You spend $9500 on the car, plus shipping (For an idea, my buddy had a '92 3000GT RHD Front Clip and rear end shipped over, IIRC it was near $1,000 shipped, and not even to his shop's doorstep.) You buy a Skyline, pay shipping per cubic foot, then pay for all the inspections it has to go through, and when it doesn't pass (which it likely won't because if my sources are correct R33's and most R34's dont have bumper supports) you'll have 120ish days to get it brought up to NTHA's specs.

    Cliffs

-Unless the buster hits the mega millions, no Skyline

    -Better off buying R35 GT-R
