Jones you can learn a lot by knowing what kind of fuel someone runs . Here's a prime example.. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tuning-engine-management/291776-tuned-my-car-93-91-octane-today.html.
-
Some reason I don't belive you.. What kind of fuel are you running
-
Soundss real intense.. I almost believe its an extremely hard car to launch because you nearly spilt your coffee under acceleration, good thing you didn't go sideways or had to shift because it would been all over the place.. Kirk your girl could drive that car just as fast as you.. If that don't suffix your opinion, go let a kid trying to pass there driving test take it down the 1/4. As long as he/she not scared it'll do it almost everytime.. Push lc button.. And here you go Let's do a little comparison.. Here's your average c6z but you can tell this guy had some seat time.. Here's the ranger man himself. This is just to show how much of a gap between average driver and best driver.. I wanna belive the 2013 gtr's are down to comparing reaction time because they all run a tenth of each other.. I'm curious why that is?

Don't like my excuse? Well when I get the neons on and chrome lettering I will show you all how fast an true autozone vette is. I'm 2 sets of fender vents and a roof scoop away from being the fastest street car in the USA. Don't hate
-
Well you see... My glued on vents didn't provide enough airflow into the engine for my spectral cai to breath enough air in thus not making complete use of my high flow cats. Because the more air coming in will make more air going out. The engine had good spark though with the new high output battery, ngk plugs, and accel coil packs installed.
-
I have an autozone vette.. Has the glued on vents and there stage 3 performance package. Spectral cai,k&n oil filter, ngk plugs, hi flow cats, stainless steel vaccum lines, synthetic racing oil, accel coil packs, and dont forget the high output battery. One fast fucking machine yo. Future mods are a complete kuztom neon kit, chrome striping, chrome letters to show everyone I have the "z51" package, add more glue on vents with that kuztom roof scoop, baja amber fog lights to replace my stock. I'm sure I'll be more autozoned out than my fellow vette showin earlier. NOTHING will touch this car after I'm done. Dyno Brian bring on that loud bike with that funny exhaust and cai unit in one. Seriously who does that? I never seen one at autozone so it must be junk

You expect a perfect run everytime anytime? I'm not making excuses. I needed more seat time an a decent tire... If that's an excuse then please tell how I beat that 58xrwhp cobra that traps 126-129 running high 10's low 11's from a dig and multiple rolls a few days later? Was that luck? I even had a passanger the entire time, stock intake, bald nitto's.. I guess adding a passanger (168lbs ish) and having bald street tires would be an excuse I didn't beat him more? Maybe he lost because he had his almost new m/t et with ccw's and skinny front tires? Wonder what would of happened if we was able to swap rim/tire set and give him the passanger.. Seat time is over rated and everyone should be expert drivers from the start. O and my car made only 470rwhp.. So being down 100+rwhp with bald 555r's and added 16xishlbs it was luck that I won and not because I had more seat time. Sure thing boss.
-
Awful confident.. I like it! In that video I lacked seat time. I went to the strip 3 days after i had the car tuned and Was the first time I went to the strip after h/c coming from mild bolt on. In video that was my 2nd and 3rd pass and I ran one more afterwards. I was still getting use to the extra 100+ rwhp and wasn't shooting for records. I was still shy of the car. Hell on the 2nd run you can hear the tires chirp when I hit forth gear. I had h/c for less than 2k miles than went TT... 600miles later now building it for some decent power for a street car Sean I wouldn't mind running a "beater". I have no idea what kind of "beater" you have but it must be nice to call a race car a "beater"
-
Trap speed was lower than I expected but like I said in a earlier post.. I trapped faster 1/8 trap speeds and mph bone stock than those 3 runs I did at the drag strip after the h/c. I couldn't really stay in it until about 330 mark. 88 mph h/c vs a 91/92 stock

Here's my pb with winter tires : ) They messed some key intel up about mods. They tried to under mod his car. I offered him 2 cars and the hit for some $$$ in Mexico from a dig and he wouldn't take the bait.. Thing is.. You talk shit but could you beat me on your bike geesammy?
-
.. I'll be having well over an easy 20k invested in performance mods alone in this car.. FYI when I bought the car in 09 With 17k miles 2nd owner for 36,800$. Dealership was asking 39k at the time I bought it. You seem to be on my nutz a lot.. Are you mad bro? Take it to the buster thread then.. Stop trying to stir shit up in other threads
-
Nope it's all glue on. Come at me. http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/ricevette.jpg^
-
Almost makes me want to de mod the car and sell it off and buy a c7. Then I look at the rear...
-
I'm jealous of your fab and welding skills

It all started when someone started gtr nut swinging.. I corrected them that the only thing way a vette will beat a gtr is in the 1/4. some one started talking crap about stuff they didn't know so I guided them in the right direction. I'm not trying I claim the c6 is the greatest platform for racing but it's a proven platform As well as most American vehicles. some seeks vehicle brochures for salvation.. I seek videos and average joe's response on vehicles. Tim Switzer himself on his own website said, Nissan gtr; turns dentists and doctors into John force at a push of the button. I didn't knew much about the gtr besides impressive 1/4 and Mexico videos but that quote coming from one of gtr's top performance shops was enough said.. After that I kinda dispise the gtr. If anyone that can afford the car can make it run that fast in the 1/4 with nearly no seat time then what's the point? I'm not a fan of Sheeps and the if everyone can do it than it must be cool. Everyone has there opinion on certain vehicles and ones they hate. I don't bash them for it do I? I agreed with them. Corvettes are point in click, plastic go carts, cavalier interiors, old mans car.. W/e I see them as a high performance light weight all round platform. Your not going to talk shit and expect me not to reply. It's the kitchen gents and it's what it's made for. I really didn't want to go that hard on jones but he did mention the say stuff 3 different times in 2 different threads so he was calling for it. I'm sorry if I come off as a know it all but I do know quite a bit of info regarding cars.. If you asked a question I'll try and find the answer..
-
Either case the r34 getreg would be a perfect canidant if Nissan wanted to make a manual.. That trans can hold some power!
-
Beatercamaro your talking about at the fly wheel hp.. You do realize being awd vs rwd it's going to have subquently less awhp vs flywheel hp. C6z aren't that powerful in stock form.. It's the power to weight that makes them insane. People have gained subquently more hp than stock with mild shit. I looked it up and the Cobb cat back 2013 gtr makes 460awhp and bone stock m6 c6z's makes 440-460ish. Mod for mod gtr will walk a c6z until the c6z gets boosted.. After that's it's max effort and well we all know who takes that
-
U keep trying to make your point across on something? I'm confused. Is your panties soaking wet because you have something to say? Step up then. How you about to claim I can't drive when you or no one you know ever raced me? Is it because I never went to the drag strip with my drag tire/rims on? I have no care for the 1/4.. I have a street car that I refuse to give up ride quality for a fast slip. Someday when you have a street car fast enough.. You'll understand
-
Not looking for someone to build the engine gents. I'm doing that. I looking for balancing, new cam bearings, torque plated, honed, hot tanked.maybe resleeved. Kinda basic stuff. I don't trust any shops in building and assembly. Wrenching is fairly easy shit. After all having a shop assemble my engine would screw up the whole DYI project I been working on for years
-
Ok bitch made faggot.. Find something in ANY if my posts that you think is false and I will point you in the right direction. When I don't know something I find out about it or ask questions . I don't throw false flags and complain like a bitch. It's better to be a well rounded enthusiast than a narrow minded dooshbag. I come off as a corvette fan boy because yal ask questions or try to question my athorition! The gtr shit is just what I think about them, everyone has there right to state w/e you want. Like omega gtr this and that. Nice shop car on race gas but it's just that.. Lmr c6 nice shop car on race gas and until it gets beat by any other kind of platform than its king. I wasn't expecting it to be. Figure ugr would taken that! Accept it or hate it. I don't have a shop car on race gas..It's something I built in a little garage on jackstands, impressive for a corvette and the amount of cash I have in it I could easily built a much faster car. But it wouldn't be the same. Mech isn't my job nor is it something Im going to school for, just a hobbie I admire

Throwing a m6 in the gtr wouldn't cost near as much as they spent in making the dsg. They wouldn't have near the same results as they do now. The gtr doesn't make much power stock and it don't take much of a transmission to handle there Tq.. Hell if they fab a r34 getreg trans to work it wouldn't cost that much. I could see the GTR losing maybe a full sec n half in the 1/4 onverting to manual but it would be more fun to drive and cheaper to build/tune, but most importantly it would require a driver mod for the true car enthusiasts.
-
Yea it's all in the air.. I always change the build up.. 93 w meth would do me Just Fine but I like the effects e85 does to the engine. I don't think it would take much boost to make my goals. My main concerned is how much it'll be making on low boost.
-
Fuel is an -8 feed and I used the stock to return.. I'm debating to do a -10 feed and 8 return. I might have to do more research in that. Fuel pump is an eleminator and suppose to be good for 1,400 hp fi but I'll be no where near that. Im prob gonna be getting meth as well since I'm staying with 93 octane than again e85 would be tits. Final goals are 850-950rwhp.. Then I'm going to work on Brakes >suspension> looks (c6z wide booty) I've been saying that since I started bolt ons lol

Do you have any recent videos of it at the strip?
