  1. Damn man! I hadn't realized money was so tight at your house.
  2. Damn you, Chad! If for some reason stark doesn't pick up those dollies, i will.
  3. What exactly do you mean by not running well? Who installed the carbs? Which webers?
  4. If the biggest problem with the wheels is brake dust, talk to Tom. He got, or can get, some amazing wheel cleaner from his detailer. Cleaned my father in laws BMW wheels up like new and I don't think they had ever been cleaned. I could not believe it!
  5. Right now not trying to weld anything. Just carrying on the conversation and trying to learn. OP was asking about sheet metal, so I was trying to stick with that subject.
  6. All true. Actually I didn't say it was dirty, just that you need to brush away the flux/slag often. I had much better luck in the past with a good Miller mig with regard to burn thru. My current setup is a Campbell Hausfeld from tractor supply with only 4 current settings. I can't seem to turn it down low enough to keep the heat in line. Would it have anything to do with the size difference between the flux core at .030 and mig wire at .023? Or do you think my welder just doesn't have enough adjustment for heat range? Or...??? As I said, I am not the most experienced welder, but I would like to be better.
  7. School me Josh...are you saying flux core is not dirty or that it is possible to run a nice bead on body panels without warping or burning through? If it's about running a bead, can you tell me how? Could be my cheap equipment, but I have had no such luck, and would really appreciate a tip.
  8. I have a 110v flux that I have welded body panels with a couple of times. Don't even try to run a bead, brush the slag of the weld often, and take it slow so you don't warp the steel too much. Works pretty well. With gas works better.
  9. Jay Watt, Excel Plumbing 419-4419 replaced the cast iron stack at my duplex with PVC for $350. Pulled toilet, replaced everything to just above the floor.
  10. Paynes Service in Clintonville may still have R12 and doubt they would rape you too bad. They also have the equipment to evacuate the R12 and can convert it for you. Talk to Jeff at 614.267.7947 and tell him Mark Black sent you.
  11. Where is it? I would like to take a look.
  12. ^^^ agreed. Need more info. Did the staining wipe off? Or was it permanent? Looked kind of powdery in the pic.
  13. I have never hired the basement doctor, but I had them estimate a job for me once. Their price was twice what I paid J&J Waterproofing for i-beams. That's probably why so many realtors, myself included, recommend them j&j. Their number...(614) 329-8088. I would agree that if it is structural, the cost will be way more than $500. If you are at all concern have a structural engineer take a look. Just know that once you have the engineer's report, it will be much harder or impossible to get financing if the seller doesn't fix the problem. Banks don't seem to like to lend on things like this these days.

  15. I am 3rd on the compressor. I can pick it up today if no one else is coming.
  16. Try calling Todd at 614-286-3026. He was the guy running he show last year.
  17. I started with a coil of line and bent to match factory lines. Yes, Scott, I think I did end up with a union in the front left corner. No lift makes it take a long time. Freezing temps don't help either. Lift would certainly shorten the process.
  18. You mean the two from master to abs and two from abs to front wheels, right? Did those a year or so ago on my 04 sierra, kind of a bitch.
  19. Wife's gs300 needs a new windshield. who knows a good shop to replace it?
  20. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117258 I have these. How about $75? Should have a few thousand miles left. I took them off of my wife's car to put on winter tires. Got 18s and don't need them now.
  21. Set of four. Tires are about 3 years old and have maybe 6-7/32 tread left. $100 obo.
  22. I have used Ken Shaw on several occasions. Good work, great pricing. Small local company. Check him out at http://onlydrains.com/
