My 2000 GS300 is still going strong at a little over 254,000. It's my second in a long line to come.

I pretty much agree with everyone here. I have a poulan and a stihl. Bought the poulan new, it OK. The stihl is probably from the 80s. My father in law gave it to me. It is a much much better saw than the poulan. I would say if you are going to invest in a new one go for stihl.

I have a Samsung chromebook. If she will just be using it online and for email, I would highly recommend it. So simple. Nothing to install or update. $249 at best buy. I am an engineer and a something of a techie, and this has become my goto computer for almost everything. No good though if she need Microsoft anything.

Why are you hung up on licensure? Is this for insurance work or something? I have been building and rehabbing houses for years, and I can tell you a licensed contractor is no guarantee that you will get good quality work. It does however guarantee that you will pay top dollar. Just sayin...

I completely agree. When built correctly good...when stuffed in the middle of an intersection in Clintonville, they suck. I have watched trucks drive over them because they could not make the turn.

Someone backed into my car a few years ago at Home Depot. Of course the individual didn't stop. I was in the store, but someone saw it and gave the license number to customer service. They called me to the service desk by my license number and gave me the license plate of the car thast hit me. I called my insurance agent...don't want to know how he did it, but he managed to find the owner of the car and sent him a nastly letter threatening to revoke his drivers license if he did not come clean. Anyway I ended up with $600 for a basically broken turn signal. :-) :-) :-)
