  1. We'll, after rolling around on it all weekend, I'd say it gets the job done well. The casters are large enough to easily roll over concrete joints, though an extension cord will still stop you in your tracks. Definitely comfortable enough, the curvature is adequate to cup my 215 lb fat ass. I could go for a slightly thicker pillow pad, but it is also adequate, as I momentarily considered a nap under the truck (am I the only one?). Hard to beat for $20, and I'd say decent regardless of price. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Walked into HF at 8:30, this one was upfront on sale, so I grabbed it. I'll post back with my review after the lift/bag install today. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  3. No I'm not talking about dealing with a certain CR member.. I need a new creeper. Does anyone specifically recommend something from the auto parts store or HF? Low profile, concave plastic variety, or plain old padded rectangle on wheels?? Thanks! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  5. Nice, interested in following the process. Maybe we can have a rust repair day, I've got a bit hiding behind the doors that I want to keep from getting worse. Now I have to get used to hiding from a whole new truck when it pulls in my driveway! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Check with woodwerks in Gahanna, the sell prefinished live edge slabs. I'm sure that they could tell you what they use. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Lol. I'll let you know what he finds out. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Yes it is. Picked it up Saturday. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Just, wow... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  10. I do love me some motortrend, and gladly pay for add free viewing. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Lol, definitely! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. I think in the pictures, the fact that the tread goes about halfway down the side wall, makes them look like they have a lot less sidewall. It is definitely deceiving. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  13. At the current air pressure (not sure), they Are 32.5". A little smallish for a 255/85 I'd say. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Rear bumper is attached to the body, front bumper gets a new hole drilled to bring it up an inch. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Looks good. Just suttle enough. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  16. Hahahaha, yes that is bad!! But, CR. Sorry I hadn't responded to you! I fully plan to get the recovery equipment. I'm snagging some various decommissioned hoisting straps from work, for tree savers etc... I've been looking at roof rack mounts for shovels, and I really need to read up on things like traction mats, as I have no idea what would serve me best. I'm ordering a good automotive fire extinguisher, and grabbing a few fittings to convert one of my 20lb CO2 bottles to a tire re-inflator. Oh and this came today: Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  17. I'll definitely be installing the body lift, lol. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  18. A big thanks to Derek, for the research and helping me get this deal done. New tires are on, now the question is do you think I should put the one inch body lift on, or leave it as is. I am going to check all of my rubbing points, but I may put it on anyway just so the body is a little further away from any damage. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  19. I would be tempted to pick this up: I picked up a free copy on the 4runner forum, and it has been invaluable.
  20. Great tip. I think I'm getting in on a group buy for this bumper, it seems to be the most reasonable price and has the best approach angle: Winch should ship out today!

    New Ride

Good looking ride! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Definitely, I haven't installed the 1" body lift yet. I was waiting to get sliders and take the boards off, but I'll probably have to just go ahead and take them off. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  23. I think I am also going to go ahead and order the Firestone air bag kit for the rear, just to assist a little when I have a load. The toy Tech rear springs squat a little more than I would like if I have much weight back there as you can see from the shot up on the hill. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  24. I'm putting a new HVAC system in mom's house, so I loaded the old girl down and headed to Athens. She ran like a top, I feel good every time I get one of these two hundred mile round trips on her, feel better about the engine repairs and the fact that it's still running good. I think I am going to go ahead and replace the lower ball joints, just because they have 212,000 miles on them, and I'm using the bigger tires next week. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to drive up on the back of the farm though, so she got a little bit of offroad practice and the mandatory Flex Shot. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  25. It is. It's the copper metalizer, which is a top coat. Mine is over black, which gives more of a dark bronze color, I would probably do one more coat to lighten it up next time. A red base coat gives it a very copperish color. Same here, I'm either going to eventually go with a bronze set, or have some powder coated. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
