  1. looking for some place to get the seat covers "freshened up" in my Sonoma GT.

Really just want the vinyl piping replaced as there are a few cracks in it and would like to have the Sonoma GT logo embroidered into the headrest, like the Syclone and Typhoon.

  3. Am I the only one that wants to see pics when it is done? Unless it's a dildo, then I only want to see pics of it in use.

I can assure you it is not.... Though if I get drunk enough, it may be used as one on some poor soul on the 25th 😂

    Jkjkjk

I have an ANET A8... I love it, my wife doesn't seem to see the point in it, but the shit I make is cool... BTW, printing out your last piece now. Everything will be ready for you in about an hour. :)

Sweeeeet! I'm excited to see how these turn out

  4. Cool, I was going to offer to print it as well.

I'm sure the printers at the idea foundry are much better than mine. But if anyone is interested in trying out 3D printing at home I highly recommend the iMakr Startt printer. I bought one this spring and have been experimenting with it on and off all summer. Printer is $100 ($35 shipping from England). The bed can handle roughly anything that would fit in a 4 inch cube. I've easily gotten $100 in entertainment out of it just fiddling and making simple stupid stuff.

I really need to get one myself. But I need one that has a decently large bed. Would be worth it just to make stupid little props for my friends and myself.

  5. Ordered these to use with my Verde wheels but I guess something got messed up in the ordering and I got spacers not adapters.

They are brand new from Motorsport tech.

Adapter - Hub & Wheel Centric 36mm 5x4.75 70.3 to 5x4.75 74.1 1/2" Studs with 20 12x1.5 Lugs only have TWO of these spacers since I was using a Ford 8.8 and only needed these for the front.

They SHOULD work on some GM cars going to Vette wheels but I'm not sure. I know the s-series went to 70.3 in 1994

I paid $70 each, never used..

    Asking $100

  6. So, many of you probably do not know.. I'm a novice photographer.

And I am working on my first project which I will need a Victorian style bathroom to shoot in... Weird I know right.

I know someone posted a house for sale awhile ago in Victorian village that would have been perfect.

So in short if anyone has a house or know someone that would be willing to let me use their bathroom for an hour or 2 tops.

God that sounds sketchy...I really have no idea where to look or how to go about this other than asking around 😓

  7. West Broad wasn't much. For being "invite only," it was pretty much a poverty meet. Fortunately clone was there so there was someone to talk with.

I did see something I'd never before witnessed: the car parked next to me was repossessed during the meet. Seriously.

The old Circuit City on Sawmill had some fast cars and some familiar faces, but stayed small. Police came by and just said disperse if the street cleaner shows up to do the lot. We were gone long before then.

The Marysville gang and the Delaware kids are both having more success holding meets than anyone in Columbus right now.

OH MY GOD that has got to be embarrassing...

  8. 5401 West broad. I think it closed at 10.

ohhh gotcha, that's the "old" store, iirc they used to have meets like every week back in 2013.

There is a store that just opened a few weeks ago closer to the casino and it's open 24hrs, but their parking lot looks like a bomb range lol

  9. Saw VonRottes new Sonoma GT.

Saw a few CR guys (from this thread ;))

Met some cool younger guys with great rides. Nice conversations. Invited a few to CC&C and unfortunately a lot of people work on Saturday mornings :(

All in all a good meet until dum-dums started doing burnouts at 11:30. I am also remembering a lot of trash left all over the parking lot, which is sad...

Shoulda yelled at me. :p lol

I dipped out around 11:30 to go get food and booze, but I'll still be at cc&c tomorrow too.

  10. Hell yes. That's a keeper

RIGHT, this is about the same condition my S10 was in when my parents got it back in like 2003, then it sat for 7 years and started rusting to hell.

I'm going to do this right and restore the body completely, and do right by the GT name, and make her fast...lol

  11. Posting from my phone real quick wait on my sister in Etna...

So here is the new page where all the pictures will be posted

    projectbettywhite.tumblr.com

Yes, already named her Betty White.

Needs some good love but overall I don't think $3,000 was a bad deal. The body and frame are 1000x cleaner than my S10.

  12. The dealer can cut the keys from the VIN, no need to drill anything out

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk while street racing

👍👍👍 Spaced on that, yeah forgot once the new key is programmed the old key won't work to start the car.

  13. I have a ford IDS and can program the keys, but the would need cut first

Awesome! I can probably get the ignition switch drilled out and replaced myself.

I just don't have any real knowledge on the ford programming side of things.

I'll talk to my sister and see what she wants to do, and if she wants to replace the ignition with new keys or just get a new key cut I'll definitely message you, if you don't mind

  14. Dealership, or capable locksmith, has to re-program a new transponder key. That means either a house call or a tow, unfortunately.

If you have 2 transponder keys already, you can program all the extras you want at home. But if you have only one (or none) you have to take it to the pros.

    Gotcha, that's what I thought.

    Thanks

  15. I know how GM VATS works, its really simple, and apparently ford used transponders in the key...

So I have question, my sister has a 2002 Mercury cougar, when my house got broke into on the 15th among the stupid things they took, was my sister only car key.. Without the programmed key, how the hell do we replace the ignition switch/key?
