Automotive repair facilities still open.

If you see the national guard coming in it's time to disappear. You won't have much time before there's a pilot contemplating the morality of dropping s bomb on your town.
First the internet or power will go out. Then national guard will roll in

Unplug the antenna, one wire will be for XM and the other for onstar. My G8 has been unplugged since the day I bought it.

I run rancho rs9000's. Its nice to be able to adjust them for daily driving and for towing.

At 17 he is going to be a wash boy or porter. Maybe a lube guy depending on dealer. Nothing wrong with that though, changing oil is how I got my feet wet. 7 years later, I'm making 6 figures as a line tech.

diode dynamics are good. Especially if you spend some time and clock the bulbs.

I have a new set of injectors to throw in the G8, so I can go back to running e90. Need to change the converter and flexplate. And add hitch and wiring for drag week
-
The LS9 cam is a slightly more aggressive factory part than the ls3. Lot of guys use it
-
PM me if you have any questions. Mines been modified quite a bit. And will be getting gone over again before drag week.

We always had the johnson outboards worked on at Jim Carter marine on buckeye lake. He always had new and used engines sitting around as well. But been a while since I've been up there.

Does it actually have air in the system or is the front hub so loose, that its rocking back and forth and eating up your pedal? 99% of these trucks that I did brake lines on did not require ABS bleeding. But if you let the master cylinder run dry, it will need bled separate, and hopefully seals aren't torn

I say I don't have any cash, which I usually don't. I have given people rides locally though who actually needed it.

Thanks for the info. My wife found an 08 Malibu LTZ for my son and while it's a super nice car I knew I had heard about the 3.6 not being a very good engine so wanted to do my homework before taking the hard pass on it.
skip an 08 malibu, regardless of engine. Then skip any 12 and older 3.6.

This is going to suck. I wonder how much money it would take to buy/lease the track?

so how does that work - just have to go hat in hand to the other dealers for their inventory and work out a trade? or just wait till parts trickle in slowly?A friend of mine with a GM car has been waiting on a part for 3 weeks already.

Mallard is partially right. Supposedly they’re making the warehouse management send out parts. Some stuff still trickles in via FedEx. Geeto is right in that we are still trading with other dealers, kind of. Some are refusing to give up their inventory, including us to certain places. It’s a mess.we have some cars that have been waiting for parts for over a month. I just did a turbo job that was there for a month exactly.
On warranty work, if something is driveable we let the customer take it. If its not, they may or may not get a loaner depending if we have one back.
Non-warranty repairs have been getting a lot of aftermarket parts. May bite me in the ass, but I have to get paid. Can't stand around all day.
-
At least GM cut 22 pages of warranty operations for us, so they can afford to pay these union guys.
-
Its just as much a political stunt as an actual union strike. Look at all these democrats chiming in with their 2 cents.
Don't reply to me geeto, I don't give a fuck what you think and have skipped all your posts up until this one.

$80-125/hr depending on location. If you go too cheap, you attract all the cheap customers and junk cars.

Vehicle speed sensor has nothing at all to do with the engine starting. Check fuel pressure. If its good, check compression. If its actually 100* out of mechanical time, there are going to be some bent valves.

NWS confirmed one out by Zanesville as well.
Yeah, small one hit in roseville (outside zanesville) but I don't think anything was damaged other than land
