  1. Man I dont think they could stuff any bigger valves in those heads. lol. When do you think youll have the car back on the road?
  2. To off the dysfunction they are owned by a Steelers fan.
  3. Check out the MAF sensor, sometimes those can cause some weird issues. Especially if it gets a bug or dirt in it
  4. Good deal. Glad its something simple

I know. Some guy in an SRT Charger did a burnout across a 4way stop in front on me about a month ago. I thought it was kind of funny he had to show off to my STi
  6. I know the older F150's had problems with cracking exhaust manifolds. Typically those noises go away as the engine gets to operating temp, metal expands, and gaps close up. Internal engine noises show up more as it gets up to operating temp and the oil thins.
  7. If not an exhaust leak check that valve train for anything broken. collapsed lifter, rocker arm, valve spring etc. A ticking noise could be a lot of different things so they can be a bitch to track down especially without the help of a CEL code being set
  8. Well JFK is actualley still alive and living with Elvis, the moon landing was staged, fire isnt an invention, and the internet is just for porn, so ill say Zoolander 2. :lolguy:
  9. Same question. Congratulations! I hope to work with you guys in the future
  10. The N/A 2.5 is kinda slow. The 2.0T malibu moves pretty well, I havent driven it in an ATS though. I guess youll have to test drive it to see..
  11. Its actualley not the same motor. The 2.0T they used in the Cobalt SS, Redline, and Solstice was the LNF. The motor they use in the Cadillac is the same one used by Buick and the Malibu. It seems to be a good motor though, they had some trouble with them breaking ringslands but they re-called those or put special coverage on them.
  12. Yea either me or Scott can do it. We dont have alot going on today so Im sure we could get it done.
  13. Yea the press in wheel bearing are kind of tricky. Just make sure you dont but them in backwards or your wheel speed sensors wont read the reluctor ring. If you have a stethoscope you can have some one "drive" the car while its in the air and listen to see which one is making the noise. It might be loud enough to hear without a scope too
  14. Sounds like a wheel bearing to me too
  15. Here is something to look at also http://www.lashchevy.com/VehicleDetails/used-2013-Buick-Verano-Premium_Group-Johnstown-OH/2636988123
  16. Nice looking truck. GM's new SUV's and trucks are defintley the best ones they have ever made
  17. Hmm well maybe the 17's will finally update the powertrain. They did in the standard WRX so I think its just a matter of time. If they come out with an updated powertrain for the STi in the 17 model year I'd be very tempted to trade my 04
  18. It defintley does vary from brand to brand and aftermarket performance stuff is coming along. Im sure within a couple of years there will be all kinds of aftermarket performance stuff available. Just have to make sure you keep the carbon cleaned out of them to prevent stuck rings and carbon on valves etc.. Would you consider an STi if they had a direct injected 2.5L making 400hp at 30MPG?
  19. Aaron- Direct Injected engines use a high pressure fuel pump to create fuel pressures of 2000+ PSI in order to deliver the right amount of fuel directly into the combustion chamber. As a result of such high fuel pressures its difficult to increase the amount of fuel being delivered.. at least with the current level of technology. You can still tune them and get more power by having the injectors open longer but eventually you overwhelm the fuel system. Im sure that at some point aftermarket stuff will catch up. Some manufactures are using port and direct injection in order to achieve higher power levels.
