  1. OK thanks for the info Thorne. I remeber you used to tune around here. I never had any work done by you but I heard good things. I was defintley going to baby it until the tune is right. I dont want to blow my motor.
  2. Wow. Looks like someone tried to keep driving it after the motor was locking up. I bet the timing belt was shredded and the cams were junk too. Its to bad. They probably cracked the ringlands, burned up all the oil and tried to keep going. Either was sounds like it needs a long block
  3. Defintley the right color combo. To bad the front/engine has so many problems but that just an opportunity to upgrade Any ideas what your going to do with the build yet?
  4. Yea from what im hearing Ill probably have an open source tune done. Defintley let me know how theSportwagon goes. Do you have any pics posted?
  5. Which shop does Eric work at, or do I just rent a Dyno and he comes and tunes it?
  6. Oh. Yea $700 is pretty high.
  7. Yea that works for me. Your welcome to stop in anytime though. They are pretty laid back around here.
  8. I have heard alot of good things about turn in concepts I just didnt really want to drive that far. The person I bought the car from worked with Turn in alot.
  9. Thanks for all the info everyone.
  10. Yea id like to do that. Ill send you a PM with my #. Weather permitting Ill probably go to QS&L on friday. We can meet up anytime though
  11. Yea im going to stay with Bolt ons for now. It already has a Divorced waste gate catless downpipe with a 3" Tanabe Medallion Cat Back, ARP headstuds, and some other non-engine performance related stuff. I was going to get either the COBB or GrimmSpeed boost solenoid. Should I upgrade the BOV or is the stock one ok.

Go to freeanualcreditreport.com and you can get all 3 of your credit reports free once a year. If you have already done that in the past year Go to one of the main credit bureau websites (Transunion, experian, or equifax) and get all 3 of your credit reports for a fee
  13. Yea the access port came with the car. It already has an OTS stage 2 map
  14. Hey what's up everyone. In the next couple of weeks im going to be doing some mods to my 04 STi. Turbo, injectors, fuel, and some other little stuff. When I get it done Cordell is going to help me do a tune to get it running and at least make it driveable. I need some help fine tuning it though and I was wondering who is good at tuning Subaru's with a Cobb Access Port. Thanks
  15. Looks good. I need one for my wife.
  16. Oh ok. Sounds like that Duramax flys
  17. I came out for the first time and had a good time. Thanks everyone for welcoming me. Its never boring to have some wings and talk about cars. The ricer cruise in at Sonic was really entertaining. Ill defintely be out again
  18. Nice. Those early forester xt's were known for eating turbos. Iv never seen them eat a turbo that fast though. Sounds like there was still some metal in it when they replaced the first turbo. Your going to hurt some feelings with it now though. haha.

The pics are pretty cool. Its not everyday you get to see a drapstrip build
  20. It sounds like your kind of fighting yourself on what you want the Duramax to be. You want to use it to tow and haul stuff around but how practical will it be to do that if you do the trans work to it with a higher stall converter? You can make a beast out of the G body and there is no shortage of parts out there for it. No to mention it will probably be cheaper to get parts for.
  21. Try some wheel acid. Scott used it on his Miata wheels and found out it ate up his Plasti-dip.
  22. Eastern confrence defense against western conference offense. Defense wins championships. I have Cavs in 5
  23. Nothing to really look out for in these cars as long as the previous owner didnt beat it up. I pulled it up on the Gm website and it does have one open recall for the headlights. No big deal its a quick fix but something you can use yo beat them up on price.
