yeah you really cant compare athletes to one another... each sport has its legends. mj, babe ruth, wayne gretzky, joe montana, schumacher, ali etc etc.

i go to bike nights because i like bikes. i like to look at them, and talk about them and meet like minded people. i love riding. if it didnt take an hour to get to some nice twisties, then there would be a lot less standing around and a lot more riding. but in the city your choices are pretty limited. if there was a regular meet in dayton, id probably roll out there a few times. its nice to get out of town and get a change of scenery.
its not a good thing to have pissed off neighbors. i would just ignore him unless you plan on moving very soon. i mean do you really want to live next door to your enemy? kill him with kindness. make him think you are his friend. then 10 years from now, when he never expects it, exact your revenge. keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
its not mirror smooth but its not super rough either. i think you could put a sticker on. if you go to a bike night or something, come take a look at my tank here is a pic. its not the best but it gives you an idea
i did zero prep with the bedliner. and yes its thick. the thing i like about it is that i can drop a wrench or spill gas and it does nothing to the "paint" but i dont think it comes off. i wouldnt put it on anything that you may want to take it off of later.
