Thanks. I'll start marketing it a little harder once we start seeing consistent 60's outside. Probably cleaning out a lot of stuff and vehicles to make room for some larger shit with third rows.

I have and would own one again. Look them over very closely, don't expect lots of resale value, and never look back.

I would buy all of these I could find for 2-2.5 right now if they were running and driving well. The graph on gas price isn't going to go down any time soon.

That whole carb isn't really a great choice for a very light weight, high vacuum car. You can make it work though.

Was your vacuum reading in gear? I don't even know what kind of trans you have? That's cool if it's a Holley red or some other pump internally regulated to carb psi.

If you haven't checked the floats, and you don't know what jets are in it, you haven't began to "tune" it yet. Did you adjust linkage for WOT? Do you know what power valves are in it? Are you between 5-6 lbs? What kind of choke (if any) is on it? Have any acell. pump cams to try?

If that thing is stock, or close to it, an off the shelf 600 Edelbrock or similar is going to be your least-worries, bolt on and go option. Simple adjustments if you need to.

Ha, I kind of dig having something that sounds fast. Like I told Dan, there's a neglected S10 here that can be reborn if I want to go fast again. Or, I'll trade the stang for a 10 second Civic tomorrow. Ya just never know.

I did. BMW is on the new owner's lift. I was talking about a stock 89 Fox. Sounds great, just won't get out of it's own way.
