  1. Maybe if 90% went to their family's charity foundations, but that just looks like a dealership overpricing stuff.
  2. Ahh, ok. Well, since this is the Tech Section... This link shows the steps for the fuel filter and it takes no special tools - http://www.pfyc.com/supportfiles/gasfilter/ . For the plugs and wires, once the front dog bone mounts are undone, you can use a small ratchet strap (or just about any rope/tether) to hold the engine towards the front of the car while getting the back plugs and wires.
  3. Didn't really expect a PM. Truthfully, thanks for the message, but if Rob can get you plugs, wires, and a fuel filter for $75 installed, you'll never beat that deal.
  4. I think one of the chicks was right - Ben Folds. As far as the cam site - 3 minutes of refreshing won me about 18 gay dudes, 3 fat chicks, and 1 guy stroking it. Excellent.
  5. Be sure to post many, many pics so I may live through you for a week.
  6. From what I am told, M&M did the work on the 383 that's in my S-10, and it's held up to some abuse.

  8. Bad publicity on a lot of local forums will (should?) go a long way if the owner thinks it will take green out of his pocket. I understand your situation. It's easy for people to tell you to be a hardass on-line. Little different in person. Good luck.
  9. Figure you already tried this... http://columbus.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=&catAbbreviation=cta&minAsk=1&maxAsk=1000

    Thank you

1500 then 20% until we hit $6000 here. Add to that the couple hundred in premiums every pay, and it gets funny. Gets worse every couple of years.
  11. When the tune port engines came around, they were awesome and earlier V8s sucked. When LT1s, LT4s came around, they were awesome and earlier V8s sucked. When LSXs came around, they were awesome and earlier V8s sucked. And some day, people will dog on the LS1s. LT1 is a great engine.
  12. Oh, and here's a thread I started last year about this topic... people loved Optimas then. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66452
  13. I use stands that would hold up a semi. Just sayin...
  14. I am still using a 15 year old cheapy Sears 2.5 ton jack. Hasn't failed me yet.
  15. Why do you think it makes a difference? I currently have Stange SS.
  16. Pics of both is the only way to compare.
  17. You really can't go wrong with a good battery from NAPA. I sold them for 10 or so years, and most people were thrilled with them (me included). They have an 84 month warranty, like some other places. All the Optimas I had came in cars I bought with them already in and were usually cars that only ran once or twice a week and I never had issues with them, even in Winter.
  18. You're welcome to buy mine. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64889
