  1. We call her "old gray". She has served my Dad well for 25+ years, and is still ticking. This truck has been used to plow my Dad's gas station lot and roughly 6 other local properties for the last 25 years. It has also been the station's "service truck" for jump starts etc. 1979, 4wd, 3/4 ton, 14 bolt rear, 350 w/ TH400 trans. Truck has under (or right at? it may have finally rolled over) 100k miles. Reg cab, long bed. Tool box, bed liner, hitch. It has a working Meyer plow w/ joy stick style buttons. It is ugly. It does not ride like a new truck. It does not get 20mpg. It is however, a 3/4 ton 4x4 truck w/ a plow that's been maintained by my Dad for decades and has rescued untold numbers of people. Link to CL w a couple pics. - http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1503624469.html Truck is in Zanesville. Price is close to firm, no trades. Fred @ 740-975-3817 or bpfred@yahoo.com
  2. We use similar stuff (saline) for our kids' noses, but are you saying it helps bloody noses (i.e. moisturize them)? Now there's a question I didn't imagine myself asking on CR.
  3. Since I was a major "this shit is WAY overblown" guy, I kept quiet when I had it. Both of my boys had "regular flu" shots this year. Then a month later, one of their daycare chicks catches the flu on a trip (confirmed H1N1). Then both boys get a flu. Doc says since they already had shots, and how it presented, it was very likely H1N1. But, treatment was the same either way. Two weeks later, I got it. Kicked my ass for 2 days, like any other flu.
  4. So, I have had an 8-gallon a day humidifier running for 3 or 4 days straight now, and I am still getting bloody noses from this air (and work air sucks as well). I can't get the house > 29%. Have any of you guys added a whole-house humidifier to your existing furnace? Was it as easy as it sounds... cut whole in duct, mount unit, plumb a water line to it?
  5. The dog should have been on a leash unless it was fenced in, which I didn't read in the article. Sad to read, but it wasn't malicious and the owners are at least 50% at fault.
  6. Put a smile on my face. Not quite a "knock'n-the-bottom-outta-dat" smile, but you know, a smile nonetheless.
  7. Large, brown, antlered (wow, spell checker let that go ) animal in Ohio... what the fuck else was he supposed to assume it was besides a deer? A moo-cow? A jackalope?
  8. OP - please try to reduce your overall sig's vertical size. Thanks.

I've never seen 1 single thing combine ghetto and valley as well as that face.
  10. MMmmmm. It dressed out at 350 to 400 pounds, Rice said: "I just told him to cook it to the right temperature, just like he would hamburger from Kroger."
  11. My wife wanted to watch the Carrie special on right now. I thought, "that is LAME." I stand corrected. Jeebus. EDIT - before the "no pics, no win" comments find their way here... MAYbe NWS? Didn't scan them all - http://www.watt-up.com/j_gallery/Carrie_Underwood%20_1/Carrie_Underwood_1.html http://www.babeaudit.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/carrie-underwood-pic.jpg

    Needs a new oil filter.
  18. How did you do it? Meaning, via auto updates or other method? Just told my wife that is what I am buying myself for X-mas. No. Dell with Pentium 4 3.2 I made a BartPE disk for giggles; not sure I have the balls to mess around with it. I have a good friend who owned his own PC repair business for a while coming over Saturday. We shall see...
