  1. It's just a slow stock '01. Zero mods planned for right now. If anyone saw the "watch this video" tech thread asking what the ticking sound was, there is no audible engine ticking in person. His camcorder must have had a built in stethoscope. Only problem with the car so far is a clutch that likes to stick near the floorboard on the 3-4 shift at WOT, but it appears there is an easy fix after spending a few hours reading on corvetteforum. It seems slave fluid flushes work wonders. Anyways, overall it is a LOT better shape than it was advertised, the seller did the 11 hours of driving, and my wife hasn't thrown me out yet.
  2. PS, how in the Hell do I make thumb tags work?
  3. This was delivered from Bowling Green overnight Friday night / Saturday morning. I am happy. That is all. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s171/nurkvinny/DSCN3929.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s171/nurkvinny/DSCN3903.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s171/nurkvinny/DSCN3940.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s171/nurkvinny/DSCN3887.jpg
  4. If you feel you have a problem... you have a problem.
  5. Alex, I'll take the un-hacked up fuckered hood for $1000.
  6. My job: Yearly bonus was cut by more than half. Nobody in our division is receiving a raise in 2009. My wife: Was laid off back in June '08 because the non-profit lost a lot of its gov't funding. She just got another job this week. We had our 2nd kid in Dec '08, so we have cut back on a lot of things. We have saved a ton of money on food by refusing to pay Giant Eagle and Krogers prices on everyday shit. We only go there for good deals (or beer) I drove a 35+mpg Civic for a long time to save gas. Our 401k is still down ~33% or so. Our savings are way down. Still afloat and thankful to be employed, but def. a different world for my family vs. 2 years ago.
  7. Roy, like already mentioned, you need to know exact length. "They're like ... " isn't close enough. Does he just want stock ones? I probably have 64 of them.
  8. Make a Corral thread once you get some pics. Should go quickly
  9. Also has flip-up and slide backwards power sunroof.
  10. Thanks. I can put some factory pieces back on and make someone a deal...
  11. We are selling our HotSpring Jetsetter spa. This is marketed as a 3 person (1 reclined and 2 sitting) spa. It fits 3 easily and 4 adults sitting is no problem. It is in nice, clean shape. Works perfectly. Jets and heat work. We've owned it since December 2007, and has been used on average twice a month and almost always just by me. My wife has been pregnant twice during that time, so she could not use it. We bought it from our next door neighbors who bought it new. The inside is in great shape as well as the cabinet. It had a brand new cover when we purchased it and the cover itself is still nice. **Note** - It has a tiny puncture from a sharp piece of ice that I have kept covered with clear tape since it happened this Winter. Does not hurt operation. Also, it has 4 snap tiedowns. Two are broken from me opening the cover without unsnapping two of the tiedowns. A repair kit for all 4 snaps is $15 or so on Ebay. But, cover is NOT heavy or water-logged. I installed a nice cover lifter with built in towel/robe holders. One person, of any size or strength can open and close the cover. I will include a small set of homemade steps, made from 2x4's. If sold soon and at or very near asking price, I'll include the exterior circuit breaker box and wiring. This is worth a lot by itself. In a nutshell, it's a clean working Hotspring brand spa for $1400. Google for reviews - it's not a cheap spa. It has been cleaned regularly and taken care of. Located in Pataskala. You pick up and load or I can deliver within a reasonable distance for some beer or White Castle or something. Pics tomorrow.
  12. Back from the grave. Car is back for sale. Now $4900 obo Has 94k miles now. The 160 stat is now a 180 stat. It has a much nicer quiet factory exhaust now. Replaced fuel pump around Januray time-frame. Still purring along as my DD 4-5 days a week.
  13. At least that chick didn't piss all over the interior like the other dozen girl-fucking-a-car vids out there.
  14. Bump. No trades now, just for sale. Thanks
  15. He's already offered to drive it the 350ish miles here, so I don't think it's anything too drastic. I just wish my PC was up and running so I could listen to it on my 5.1 speakers. And Rob, I know about the TSB's, that's why I was asking.
  16. Hi. Seriously, if you have any desire to make it past the Oven, please read the stickied threads. Thanks.
  17. Me too, it's just several hundred miles away... for now.
  18. Here is a video of a Z06 I am looking at. During the first 30 or so seconds, there is a ticking sound. I am on a shitty laptop with horrible speakers. Is it "piston slap"? Is it injectors? Is it something else??? Opinions please
  19. Locking since you have a 2nd thread in the correct section - The Swap Meet.
  20. OMG! It couldn't have sold!!!! He was asking toooo much!!!111!!! OMG. Congrats.
  21. 385 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 385 lb-ft of torque at 4800 rpm
  22. The build date on this car was late June 2001, so the ring issue shouldn't be an issue I was just told. He's sending me a walk-around video of the car running here shortly. Anybody want to ride shotgun a few states south?
  23. Nice. I just taught my 2 year old to say, "Chicka chicka bow-wowww".
