  1. /Thread. Some things are just this easy and simple.
  2. Purdy. I am thinking of sending an 06 Ram his way that I don't think the previous owner EVER washed.
  3. Why wife is in bed by 9. I am up until 1:30-2:00. We both get up around the same time.
  4. Wear your gear, boys and girls.
  5. Pssh. I have 37" of total rubber on the ground... and still had to leave at 2500rpm.
  6. My boat does not have a primer bulb. I'll try a piece of fuel hose straight from a gallon of gas to the pump tomorrow to eliminate everything pre-pump.
  7. It wasn't 'winterized' as some people would call it, but it was stored in an attached garage that never gets below freezing in the winter. I removed the battery, drained all the water, and stabilized the fuel. The boat started, idled and ran perfectly late last fall. Today, I cranked it many, many times, with choke on, choke off, no throttle, partial throttle, full throttle, etc. I'm pretty good with starting carb'ed cars, so I figured I would eventually get her started. After no luck, I took the line from the anti-syphon ball fitting to the pump off, and it was still bone dry. Fuel is not getting to the pump.
  8. I have a '90 Funliner 19' Cuddy with a 3.0L Mercruiser. I tried getting her to fire up today, and I have traced the no-start issue to no fuel. I thought it might be the checkball in the tank pick-up hardline, but I am able to suck fuel through the line between the tank and the pump. I took the fuel pump off, and I can hear some pumping/sucking noises when I press on the lever manually. There was red gunk built up in the semi-clear line in the area circled in red below. Do these pumps fail often? Is there a problem with them losing their prime? Any help is appreciated. This is an awesome boat that I need to make sure is 100% sound; I am putting her for sale as soon as I can get this fixed. http://www.nurkvinny.com/images/100_2175.jpg

  14. Final payment on my Home Equity Loan + preparing a second kid's room. EDIT - man, I wish I could say, "a roots blower for the truck." Oh well.
  15. Ahh, McConnelsville. I used to attend the show at the Fairgrounds every summer. Robby and his dad have done some paint work for me and several friends... good work. I organized a ColumbusRacing cruise to Zanesville a couple summers ago. Not a huge turn out, but good times. Sadly, there USED to be a good Friday and Saturday night car scene on Maple. That died down drastically around 10-12 years ago. Anyways, enough random thoughts - welcome aboard.
  16. Good topic, Earl. The teacher is 100% in the right, IMO.
  17. 58 year old motorhead from Zanesville, huh? Seems likely that I would know you, maybe? Know any Davis's with Fords or Dailey's or Barnetts or Adams's?
  18. Actually, I meant that I saw what I believe to be exactly like what was linked. It was heading down the turn lane in front of the big Caddy dealership by Morse Crossing and Morse Rd.
  19. I have plenty. Shoot me an e-mail - nurkvinny@yahoo.com
  20. I almost posted this earlier this morning. The only thing that looked fishy was that every picture had the same 2-3 white light reflections, even though the pics were from different phones, almost like the image was being projected onto the window.
  21. Amen. That fat chick gets a 2 in my book.
  22. Saw me one of those at Easton today. I said to myself, "hmm, nice CT... what the Hell? Sweet."
