  1. Thank you, Sir. Beerfest part II, as we speak.
  2. Yesterday at work, my boss - 45 year old female - had the converter cut off of her 99 Cherokee in the work parking lot. The security cameras show a POS white car pull up and park beside her Jeep, and 7 minutes later, pull away. She went to leave for the day, and realized her exhaust was LOUD. Her husband ended up welding on a new exhaust during the OSU halftime. The reason? Platinum in the converter... worth A LOT to metal recyclers. FUCKERS.

  7. Chevy / GMC, I have had - 78 1/2 ton 4x4 79 1/2 ton 4x4 86 1/2 ton 2x4 86 K blazer 4x4 92 1/2 ton 2x4 02 1/2 ton ext 4x4 plus a lot of S10s and S10 blazers Dodge, I've had 01 4x4 ext 02 4x4 GMs all seemed to tow better. I've enjoyed the Dodges better as daily drivers. Never had engine issues with any of them. Had 1 trans go in the 92 Chevy. Dodge mpg has not been good to me, but all of mine have been gasoline. Sister's 5.9 Durango ate an engine. Dad's 04 Tahoe has had a lot of brake issues. Mom's blazers have been flawless. Sorry for the randomness.
  8. Dad has 50K easy. 75-80K if you count both in-ground lifts. It's what he has done for a living since the 60's. He has always bought the best. I have an easy 4-5K without really trying.

  10. It's not an XP gem, you're just telnetting to that address. Cool though.
  11. Pics to nurkvinny@yahoo.com please.
  12. I know this, and agree 100%. I have driven through numerous DUI check points, and every one has started the same as this kid's video. Is it really too tough to say "home" or "to bang my girlfriend" when asked where you are headed? Having said that, I know the kid has every right to tell the cop it is none of his business. We all know the checkpoints are ultimately set up to save lives. If a cop pisses off a few 19 year olds in the procoss, so be it. I personally do not even see a reason for the kid to be pissed. He staged this. He got the exact response he wanted. He is the one who went off on the clutch tangent. Asking the kid to exit the vehicle at a checkpoint was not wrong. Asking the kid for ID and insurance was not wrong. The cop stating they would find a reason to arrest him was wrong; I think we all agree on this. However, that would never have happened if the kid did not stage this lousy video.
  13. The video is useless. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2585482423715017278 Cliff's notes... sober 19 year old refuses to answer very simple questions at a checkpoint. Cop detains him to check ID and insurance. Another cop stalls the manual trans car ONE time. Kid asks about the dept fixing all the damage they did to his car. Kid knows he has a camera running, so tries to pull a hippy stunt and comes off like a jackass.

  15. It's not weird at all. The press just decided to report something positive for once. There were 1000's of civilians, troops, and police trying to help N.O. residents hours - not days or weeks - after the disaster. That does not increase ratings. Interviewing 25 ignorant poor people bitching about our sitting president not helping people that were warned FOR DAYS to get the Hell out of Dodge, makes ratings.
  16. I should have been more specific. When interviewing for a programming position, I went ahead and included my job at dad's shop. Even though some people looked at my job as just a pump jockey, cashier, and grease monkey, I was able to point out the facts that I worked with the public everyday, was trusted with bank deposits, had to meet deadlines, kept employed for 8 years at one job, advanced while I was there, as well as supervised others. I did not include delivering pizzas when I was 17 or mowing the public library's lawn when I was 15. You should include the jobs as long as you can show you gained useful tools and/or knowledge while you were employed there. If you worked at Walmart or flipped burgers for 2 weeks, I feel you are better off leaving them off your resume.
  17. People need a LOT more details, man. Are you talking about a pressure sending unit?
  18. My dad owns a tire shop that I worked at for 8 years. The $40 was to cover me driving an hour down in the Ram to his shop, doing the labor myself, and bringing the tires back up to my house or the East side. If you buy the 4 for $500, I will do all of the mounting, dismounting, stems, and balancing for $40... if you bring your wheels to me or follow me to Zanesville in your truck.
  19. List the jobs that are relevant to the position you are applying for, or jobs where you held a leadership position.
  20. No use for Mustang parts. Thanks anyways.
  21. I will sell the tires by themselves. The 4 tires that are currently mounted, I'll sell for $500 + $40 to have them dismounted. $540 total. All 6 for $600 + $40 for dismounting the 4 off the wheels. I can also have them mounted and balanced on your wheels for a very good price, maybe free. I would ask for the money before I have them dismounted (after you inspect them of course). I could deliver to the East side, or they can be picked up in Pataskala. Let me know.
