SES light on? I'm a GM guy, but sure sounds like a mass aif flow sensor/ MAP sensor, or your car's equivalent.

See. People can't fully understand why we ride until they try it. True with most things, I guess. Oh, and dirt bikes are night and day different than a street bike.

Re-arching the springs and adding helper springs should take care of it. How heavy of a load do you need to tow? -
*Not* having that little voice in the back of your head wondering if the damper will fly apart for the next 5 years is well worth the extra cash.

Tear them back apart, clean and wire brush everything, antisieze the sliders, slap $.07 worth of orange no-squeal on there. You'll be fine. EDIT - Oh, and you can't tell rotors are alright by looking at them. Might be worth the effort to have a .001 or 2 or 3 taken off them and/or buy new ones for $19 a piece.
