In pic 2 is that the actual control tower in the background? One of my buddies at work was a Navy air traffic controller in the early 90's. I showed him one of your pics from up in the tower, without telling him where it was and he was like, yup thats pensacola, lol. He was a controller there and Maryland and on the USS Enterprise for a while. Got out of the Navy and decided it was too much stress to continue doing it as a civilian. Anyways, cool pics, cobra looks damn good.

If you want to expand your budget more along the lines Evan is talking about, I have a LeMond road bike with only about 100 miles on it. A few years old but it's an incredible bike. I'm 6 ft and Rick at A Gear Higher fit it to me. The bikes MSRP was $1000.

Both of our dogs are chipped, our issue is when they've gotten out, they don't understand the road is dangerous. It's a 55 mph zone in front of our place. They zig zag from one side to the other, yard to yard. That's my nightmare.
