  3. body kit that was on the car from the previous, previous owner. The black striping is stock
  4. Simple answer is its the aperture of the lens. Smaller number means bigger hole that it lets light in. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/87/Aperture_diagram.svg/350px-Aperture_diagram.svg.png Bigger hole means more light in at a given shutter speed. It also causes differences in depth of field, causing that creamy bokeh in good shots. Lower aperture and higher focal length= more bokeh. This is where you see the differences between kit lens' and pro glass.
  5. I had to do this after some shitheads stole mine out of the jeep. I did not need the title. It costs like $5

  8. I'm a nikon SLR guy and would highly recommend canon for the point and shoot crowd. They have that market down. Their IS is great, their functionality is easy to pick up.
  9. Were you the guy with the yellow/black striped helmet? We saw you riding out, looks like a fun bike. We were there at nearly the same time looking at the challenger. I recognized a couple of CR cars in the old BMW building parking lot.
  10. what are you using to command the strobes? Just wondering if you had any thoughts on pocket wizard. #2 looks pretty good.
  11. I just finished downloading it, took me several attempts to download it successfully, their site is getting hit hard. They are attempting to set a record for most downloads in a 24 hour period. I don't know how I like it so far.

  14. Last photo has a lot of noise, what ISO equiv was it taken at?
  15. I drank heavily, we did not get along. I'm happy now though. Thank you for reading deep thoughts wit mitch.
  16. zaino products. I've used them, jax wax and a few others. Sal is the best in the biz. Zaino gets all of my money.
  17. Sorry man, deal with it, God knows you'll have to deal with language barriers when you get to the workplace. Hour long classes are just as bad as hour long meetings with developers. Trust me I know it sucks.
  18. If you email the pics to me I will be glad to resize and host them for you. mitch531 AT gmail.com
  19. Not me, I was keyboard hijacked by hwilli. I would not shit in a kitteh thread.

  22. nurkvinny's child has good taste in drivers.
  23. Like I said the pics still came out very nice and thats all that matters.
  24. Any camera can do it. You just need a tripod. His D200 is more than capable. Its not the focus point. High Dynamic Range. It means a large change in the exposure values. You take a minimum of three images, all at different exposure values. One is metered to capture shadows, one metered to capture the highlights and the rest fall somewhere in between. Its the software that combines the multiple images. I would imagine changing focal length and focal point would play havoc with combining the images in the software.
  25. Bullshit. You are using PS CS2 or newer or photomatix. Some type of image editing program to combine the multiple shots. I think the shots look good though. Too bad it was overcast. I've played with HDR in CS3 and was pretty impressed with the results just from combining -1, 0 and +1 EV. Automotive shots lend themselves to HDR. Nice work.
