nerf bars : chrome aluminum vs stainless steel?
Mitch replied to Slimpsy1647545505's topic in Passing Lane
nerf bars are cute, get rock rails. Just giving you hell for not getting the jeep. Its easy to clean up rock rails with krylon matte black. -
That sounds good, seeing as everyones definition of spirited drivin differs. Popular concensus puts it on a sunday morning.

I'd be in for some baseline pulls, then hit you up in early spring for a real tune. Sounds good to me.

You should look into getting some grant money to continue this research.

I'm glad someone else was as drunk as me last night!

Time to get rid of those chicken strips???

Lets firm this down to this coming weekend or the next. Either is good for me. The farther we get to fall color means the more minivans in front of us.

I was hoping that you would pipe up.

Congrats on the purchase! I don't foresee myself without a Jeep anytime in the near future. Incredible amount of space in those beasts. I used to camp out in my WJ all the time, just folding the rear seats and sleeping in the back. I'm kinda jealous. That thing got a hemi?

Any ideas on getting a cruise down to the hocking hills this fall? Last year I had a blast. Lets get a group together, cruise on down to old mans cave, stop get some pics or food, then go out and hammer some curves. Figure out a date within the next couple of weeks, we'll stop and drag along all the CR members between here and lancaster and have a good time. Welcome to all cars of course. (I'll be slower than last year sucks) Maybe a tour to the abandoned train tunnel at Moonville? http://home.fuse.net/moonville/ If you have been down there before you know it will be a blast. Anyone up for this? Saturday or Sunday?

is ESPNHD blacked out?

I'm sick too. It came from a bad bottle of whiskey and I went back to the store to see if the next bottle was bad. I'll update y'all tomorrow.

It's caught my eye at work several times. I'd rock the car and the in your face color. I dunno the owner, but the car stopped me when I was out walking several times for its oh shit value. The f'ed up thing is that I have had my camera available those few times and never thought to snap a pic.

IN. Hoping to see mullets and cutlasses on 30 in wheels (what is the plural of cutlass, it's never really came up in polite conversation before?) Don't be shy just come up and say hi, this is a good place to meet people. You don't have the cliquish crowd like you get at night meets and a lot less attitude. Just people chilling out, appreciating the hard work put into any car, no matter what make. You get to realize that a lot of people on the board talkin smack are down to earth people just havin' fun. This is a good time and I want to thank all those who put in an effort to organize it.

Thats not a bad drop from 10k+ I might have you negotiate my next car. What kind of consulting fee would you charge? It'll be a blast in winter (that one day when it snows here) You know the rules of the jeep wave, right

Its in the Asia Quest exhibit, which is relatively new. Its a flying fox (Pteropus vampyrus) or Golden-mantled Flying Fox (Pteropus pumilus). It is a member of the bat family and eats fruits only. It can not echolocate like other bats http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Flying_Fox

Looking at the autotrader ad, there's a few things I would mention to get them to lower the price. The rear "bumperettes" are worthless. There is no carpet and there should be a back seat. The front seats don't look like stock sahara seats. Saharas came with seats like these most commonly, but I did find pics of one with similar seats so I might be wrong. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=237523474&dealer_id=617730&car_year=1998&model=WRANGLER&num_records=25&systime=&make2=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=1997&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=25&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&showZipError=n&first_record=51&make=JEEP&keywords_display=&color=&scarid=250484918&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&seller_type=b&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=43017&advanced=&end_year=2006&pager.offset=50&doors=&transmission=&max_price=&cardist=11 SWB jeeps have short driveshafts. Too large of a lift without going to a CV driveshaft can cause problems with vibes and diffs as was previously mentioned. I also forgot to include the LJ unlimited that was just a longer wheelbase. One more thing, if you test drive it be sure to take it on the highway. The bigger tires rob power on the freeway big time if they didn't do a gear change.

97-06 TJ model main differences ALL TJ's were 4wd none came with power windows or locks. All had command trac transfer cases with 2wheel, Neutral 4hi and 4lo SE stripped 4cyl. X came in later in the TJ life cycle. Bridged the gap between the 6 cylinder sport and 4 cyl SE. It had the I6 but generally had less options than the sport. Usually steel wheels, no foglamps. less options and a generally lower price point than the sport. Sport 6cyl Just a higher trim level, usually had nice 15 inch wheels Sahara 6 cyl body color side fender flares and usually had the step. Usually had all the options. Ruby 6 cyl locking diffs and bigger tires stock. 16 inch wheels. This model became available mid generation. It got slightly less mpg (very slightly, like 18hwy instead of 19) Ruby's could be optioned with just about anything. http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=883112 Its a FAQ for TJ noobs.

He just mentioned every reason I got rid of my TT. It was the best handling car I have ever driven though. Boost was fun, waiting for it to spool wasn't. Its hard to find people locally that have much knowledge of the car to help out with the little nagging issues that can be expected from a 12-18 yr old car.

I was in Buckeye Nissan a couple of weeks ago, they had just taken delivery of one black and one white GTR. They told me their dealership had deposits on their entire allocation until Sept/Oct. 2009.

Somebody tell Jones. The last Renault in the states is up for sale. Its no Faygo, but still.

I want to play, just don't have a membership anywhere. I'd call myself above novice, but C leagues would be a tough class. I just played for fun back in college. It beats the hell out of tennis, less chasing the ball.

The instant you pulled out in Thorne's WRX, Brian began pillaging your car.
