I thought Gas Monkey was a fuel price app. LOL

I'm in Pataskala, just a few miles from NTR. It's raining pretty good here.

that's slick! Any events like that coming up this year? Getting to ride new bikes and get free stuff is a super win!

*Samsung Evo 250GB and up (the 120GB is slow and I have durability concerns) *Samsung Pro is among the fastest and most reliable on the market, but it's more expensive than the Evo. *Crucial M500 offers great bang for the buck, and adds additional data and power redundancy. The M550 is Crucial's new line, but being new to the market, it's still too expensive. The big perk of the Samsung SSDs is the software. The bundled S/W allows you to migrate your existing Windows installation to a SSD. Migrating is different from cloning, in that is configures your existing install to match the SSD's storage parameters. I'm sure you already know this, but if you do a lot of photo editing (presumable RAW), you'll want a lot of RAM in your system. The 512GB Pro is ~$150 more than the 500GB Evo. I'd go with the 500GB Evo and use the extra $150 to add RAM or a large platter drive for storage.

I like my Etymotic HF3's. These things are NOT falling out, the sound quality is well above average, and they're durable. (I've washed+dried them no fewer than twice). I scored them at Bestbuy a few years back for like $60 on a pricing mistake.

Rough estimate of repair cost (body work)?

Go to a salvage yard and pull a head light and fender, eff the rest. -
Your opinion has been noted and ignored.

Well, it certainly sounds like there was some deal made. He gets their money back, they get a public arse kissing. Hell, I'd do it to rid myself of a $100k+ headache.

Ba-da-ma-bump. OBO.

Hey guys? If you throw your dick out the window and you jump also, which hits the ground first?

Um, OK?

This video is really making the rounds on the forums/social media. What I don't get, is why? The video appears to have been shot in Connecticut, which does have a consumer protection Lemon Law. The law does specifically mention arbitration, so that's the route he needs to take. Go to arbitration, lay down the facts, don't agree to any packages to keep the car, and have Porsche buy it back! This is of course all assuming that he bought the car new (he mentions he purchased the car in June 2013), and the car has less than 17k miles on it, so he should qualify.
-
Why is he going through all this trouble? Most states have Lemon Laws, and it appears he qualifies for them. He doesn't even need to speak to Porsche, just have a lawyer do it! Edit: The guy appears to live in Connecticut, which does have consumer protection Lemon Laws, however they do only apply to new cars and it appears he will have to go through arbitration. http://www.ct.gov/dcp/cwp/view.asp?a=1646&Q=276146&PM=1

Sold my TV, now my Xbox 360 slim needs to go. It's a Halo Reach edition and comes with 2 Halo Reach edition wireless controllers. I'm also throwing in the following accessories: 2 generic chat headsets, Xbox 360 media remote, and 2 charge+play cables (no batteries). I'm including the following games: Halo Wars, Halo 3 in collectible tin case, Halo Reach, Halo 4. Everything is in excellent condition and works great! Xbox has been played MAYBE twice in 2014, and not much in 2013. Price is $200. Prefer to sell as bundle, the games do me no good without a 360.

The intake, FMIC, and tuner can be installed in your garage in an afternoon. It's easy. The downpipe and coilovers are a bit more involved.

No, I've got an '07. I'd have to replace my thermostat housing too. Not on these cars, they tend to run a bit on the warm side.

KW coil overs are the most common in the BMW community, but I've heard that the TC Klines are more race oriented. I'll also echo Triple's comments on the LSD. The E-diff is more than sufficient for aggressive street driving. As far as adding power, your friend won't do wrong with a BMS JB4 and a BMS Intake. BMS also makes an oil cooler thermostat bypass that significantly bumps the efficiency of the stock oil cooler. I've got a 7" VRSF FMIC, and it's by far the best bang/buck out there. They also make nice catless downpipes. Dinan technically is a tuning option for these cars, but it's always the most expensive option with the fewest power gains. Some of their recent N54/N55 tunes have had issues with BMW's latest TCM updates which caused issues with power surging and misfiring.

What's the matter? You afraid of a little (a lot) of rust?

Bump! $200 for the 360, all accessories, and a total of 4 Halo games.

Wow, a lot of people died in those videos. Idiots.
