My guess would be the clutch. If it's slipping, it's eating a lot of power. just got it back? from a shop? Maybe they broke something?

A friend of mine drives a 97-98 eclipse RS. It has 1xx,xxx miles on it, i'm not sure how many. Well, his tranny isn't working. 1st and reverse don't work at all, and he says he needs to shift at low RPM's and gently into the remaining gears. Is his tranny fried? Maybe his clutch? Maybe the tranny is just low of fluid? I think he told me a while ago that it was leaking. Any way, it wouldn't suprise me if he fried his tranny. He drives like a moron. He's had the car for a couple of months, and he completely rags on it.

I'd like to move my battery, you know. Just for shits and giggles. I already have 4 gauge pure copper wiring run in my car for a system that i recently removed. Would that flow enough current to relocate the Batt to the trunk, or would i need a thicker gauge?

No my clutch isn't slipping. And the car was running, so i don't know how it couldn't be disengaging. Clutch in, car stuck in reverse, can not stalling out, so clutch is good. It's only happened that one time... so far. Maybe just a fluke?

Alright, this just happened.... I was backing up in aparking lot, after driving home from my gf's house, and when i went to shift to 1st, the stick wouldn't move. It was stuck in reverse. I turned off/restarted the car, no change, backed up a litle more, no change, hit the gas hard enough to make teh wheels hop in reverse, no change. I tried forcing it, nothing. Finally, it just unstuck and i could shift. Anyone know what the hell that was? I really don't want it to happen again.

Audiobahn does make some good shit for pretty good prices. I've always liked them. But anyway, back to the topic at hand. I really don't think that you will be happy with the basslink. If you're afraid of weight, don't get bumps at all. The bass link is heaver than you would think too. Just get a single 12 with amp and box. Try www.sounddomain.com they have a good selection and cheaper-than-retail-store prices. And yes, i know that there are nicer amps than MTX out there, but not in that price range.

excellent compaired to anything that you can get at best buy circuit city, etc. the subwoofers may not hit as hard as a W7 but they cost roughly 1/4-1/3 as much. The amps (especially the class D amps) actually are very nice.

Ehhh, it was worth a try. Nothing wrong with MTX. They make excellent amps and sub woofers.

OH, i thought the bass link was more than that. But just think, the MTX's will put out more than twice the sound. And about the BP1200.1 I am selling my 81000D that is a much nicer amplifier all around for much less money.
