  1. I've got to make it out to another of these some day.
  2. If his dad loved him, he would have bought him a '13 GT500.
  3. Well, everything is drained. I'll take a look at it this weekend.
  4. The petcock was indeed set in the "on" position. That was the first thing I checked. And I'm going to replace the side cover gaskets, because fluids were literally streaming out of the left side cover.
  5. The petcock was leaking earlier this spring, so I rebuilt it. It has a new diaphram and new O-rings already. I"ll either replace it or install an inline shut-off valve. The bike is sitting with the oil filter and drain plug off, and I'll let it sit that way all day. But I'll replace the crankcase gaskets, look in to refreshing the carbs (serious, ugh), and fill it with oil and hope for the best!
  6. My GF rides an 82 KZ1000. It's an old air cooled I4 Japanese standard bike. And I found this strange: The petcock does not have an "off" position. It has on, prime, and reserve. This morning when we woke up the garage stank of gas and both our bikes were sitting in a puddle of it. There was gas leaking in a steady stream from the left side crank case. Damn. The oil window was a cloudy brown color. Double damn. And when I pulled the oil drain plug about 2 gallons of oily gasoline came spilling out. Triple damnit! So, now what? I know bare minimum the engine will need all the gaskets replaced, but what about the engine bearings? Shot, I assume. We were busy this weekend and did not ride, so who knows how long it's been like that.
  7. That did the trick! And the GF's iP4S ib JB'ed and didn't lose the camera roll, so bonus.
  8. I just updates my iP4 using Absinthe 2.0.4. Worked well enough, I did lose my camera roll. Not a big deal. I'll do the GF's iP4S later, but I'll back up her camera roll. I cant get Cydia to install Installious 5.
  9. Mulch is bought in bulk by the CUBIC yard. It would take 27 1cu. ft bags from Lowe's to equal 1 cubic yard. The GF just ordered 2 cubic yards of black mulch from Hope Timbers $105 delivered. Hope Timbers charges $32/yard and $35 delivery. They use recycled pallets.
  10. I saw people of all builds and fitness levels participating.
  11. Anyone run this weekend? I finished my first Warrior Dash today in 40:04.10. I had a muddy, muddy blast. I will most certainly participate in the 2013 event. If you're not familiar, it's a 3.5 mile run in Logan with about 12 obstacles thrown in ranging from mud crawls, to barbwire, to fire pits. http://warriordash.com/register2012_ohio.php#
  12. Interested, but I'm not sure anything I have will run it. Intel 2500k with the hd3000 graphics on my htpc.
  13. Good find. I just signed the GF and I up for the same time.
  14. What did he charge? I'm interested in having mine done.
  15. Replied to PMs. To answer common questions: The tires have a few thousand miles left in them. I'd expect them to get you thru the summer, but not beyond. The timing belt/water pump were done 2-3 years ago. Gf estimates under 3000 miles on the new parts. It's not her DD, and it's not driven often.
  16. Damn, I just added a Momentus XT to my laptop. It's a hybrid drive with a 750gb platter and 8gb SSD for $135. This is a great deal.
  17. I'm grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data. And I'm getting throttled because I went over 3GB this month. There is no way for customers to win. :-( AT&T: No unlimited data, grandfathered plans throttled. Vzw: No unlimited data, grandfathered being phased out. T-Mobile: Data throttled after 2GB Sprint: Unlimited data on the slowest network in the country.
  18. Lololol. Google fanboi. You go ahead and wait for Samsung to roll out Android 5.0 (or whatever they call it.) How long did it take for the Nexus S to get ICS? For. Ever. I challenge you: acquire an iPhone (iPhone 4 or newer) and use it for one week. Open your mind and give a different platform a fair shake. I carry an iPhone everyday. It needs to work. I can't worry about the battery dying, or the phone rebooting ,or flashing a dozen rooms to find one where the phone/GPS/4g/battery life all work. And I'm thing this out on my Android 4.0.4 tablet, so don't try to pretend I'm an apple fanboi. Also, iOS is already on version 5. And I will say I did almost buy an HTC one-x when amazon had them for $50.
