Any 2.5" SATA drive should work. I'd go with a 7200rpm drive, those Atoms need all the help they can get.

I actually prefer Win7 to OSX. But.... Look into either Parallels or VMWare Fusion. Lets you run Windows (or other OSes) inside OSX.

I've run my profile off a USB drive before with no issue. The "move" option is what you want Joe. MS doesnt seem to want your profile to exist in more than 1 place at once. So, "Move" your profile to the USB drive, when you power on your Xbox scroll to the "Sign In" tab and sign in as normal. No need to move your profile back and forth from the USB drive.

Verizon or AT&T? If AT&T, did you install the SIM card?

I've gone through I think 4 RRoDs. My 1st 360 had a 20GB HDD. I filled it up and emptied it several times. Get a bigger HDD. Also, get the new Xbox 360s (the sleek one). It's supposed to be RRod resistant, and it has HDMI and Wifi built in.

Um, dude... The battery is under the seat. You don't have to take the tail fairing off to replace it. And just replace the tail light.
